    Annie I'm still so angry about this case. Not only did the police fail Sarah by allowing a vile beast to continue in the force. But they also failed all women by brutalising them at the protest and trying to blame women for their failures. We should not forget this.

    FYI it was a peaceful protest that the police overreacted to. women peacefully protesting their right to safety shouldn't have resulted in police brutality and the fact the r*pist and murderer was a policeman makes it even worse.

    England has the strict law of innocent until guilty and they take it to the extreme. This is probably why he kept his job and paycheck. As for how he got away with his nickname, good ole boy syndrome is universal, I believe. I truly feel there is a lack of apathy or any kind of sense of protection from men towards women prevalent, or at least on the rise. Not all of course, but not taking action in protecting or even believing females is also universal. Women in every country and culture are being victimized time and time again, and since men are usually in charge of legalities, they fail more often than not to get justice. It’s almost hopeless for women. To have a voice. To be believed. To matter.

    R.I.P. sweet, innocent Sarah. I offer my sincerest condolences 💐 to her family. God will take care of that man as he did Lucifer! There are so many devils on earth that live as “normal looking” in “good jobs of authority even!” But we’ve all learned that they do not look like the boogey man or devil! But they are all the same! May God Rest her soul. 😢💔

    Thank you so much for covering Sarah's case. It shocked us all to the core, not just here in London, but across the whole of the UK. It gets worse.

    He was on the Parliament and Diplomat protection officers and would have had some form of identity to prove that, he could have shown it to Sarah, explaining away the unmarked car, which aren't uncommon in London at all.

    Those messages on WhatsApp? There was a group of them on there, all of the same mind and attitude. Lockdown was eased in stages, two sisters about a mile from me in West London went to a park to celebrate one of their birthdays and ended up being stabbed to death. The two police who were told to guard the bodies while the others went to get the relevant officers and forensic teams. While they were alone with the just killed sisters, they took selfies and posed with the bodies, then put it on their WhatsApp group, the same one Couzins was in. They were the ones who named him that name. It also emerged he'd committed dozens of s3xually inappropriate things and comments to female officers and staff, I can't remember if they were reported at the time or not.

    The head of the Met was fired by the mayor and we were promised a complete overhaul of the Met.

    At the start of 2023, the deputy chief Commissioner said on his force alone, as in the Metropolitan Police responsible for greater London, that he had at least ten officers a month who were being prosecuted, and expected to be found guilty and get serious custodial sentences.

    Prisons are very different here. The old Victorian ones are hell holes. Seriously overcrowded, rats and other critters, not fit for purpose.

    The more modern facilities are often one to two per cell, they can buy TVs and XBoxes , all see through if they have behaved well. Some are on 23hr bang up, so they are stuck in their cells and allowed an hour to shower or exercise, they have it easier, monsters or not.

    As a born and raised Londoner, I have walked miles across this city, day, night whatever. The tubes didn't run as late and there were very few night bus routes then. I walked eight miles home once, it was a really nice walk. I never felt unsafe and never had any trouble.

    My daughter was 23 when this happened and was working a late shift, she had to walk through a rough area just to reach the tube station. We cut a few bills and payed for Ubers so she'd be safe, she was terrified to go out and panicked if she saw a policeman on his own.

    Thanks for doing such a great job for Sarah, your research is truly impressive.

    This case really brought the women of the UK together, we stood up and made sure our voices were heard when demanding justice for Sarah & an end to violence against women and girls. This is a case that will stick with us for a long long time as it unveiled some inherently evil behaviours from police officers that runs DEEP throughout the whole system in the UK. Thank you for covering this one 🫶
