This Strike Could Determine the Future of Aviation

NEW: Greedy CEOs crashed Boeing — and workers are speaking out.

They took us inside the airplane company’s failures, including how executives eliminated safety inspections, sent away engineers, and forced suppliers to cut corners.

Now, 32,000 unionized Boeing workers are trying to save air travel.

Executive and shareholder corruption emptying out great companies and great domestic talent means there will be no future, for anybody including the elites. They will be the first ones to go when the entire system falls apart.

Boeing can't guarantee that the doors on their starliner won't fall off upon re-entry.

  • @salsabil44 July 1, 2024

    Now even astronauts are saying ´if it´s a Boeing I´m not going´.

  • He says they are trying to deliver planes as quality as possible, but I think he means they are trying to deliver planes as qualitaceously as possible.

  • @georgyj111111 July 1, 2024

Boing is done. Comac is happy to replace it.

  • @squadaimat2923 July 1, 2024

Quality first and no short cuts. This applies to aviation more than any other industry.in aviation short cuts and saving on quality materials should never be discussed

  • @gelinrefira July 1, 2024

At the core of the problem is capitalism.

  • People give shit to Europe for regulating and making things slow but it also keeps companies on their toes about keeping minimum requirements

  • The government subsidies the company so much. The company tries to kill itself and it's employees/customers . Why not nationalise?

  • @Aleksandras477 July 1, 2024

Let's make new planes with electric taxing to safe kerosine and money and make less decibels . Power can make not batteries but power from running main engines on less prm or even have small cerosine turbine on board ?

  • @Aleksandras477 July 1, 2024

Reikia padaryti taip, kad aviacinio žibalo kaina būtu apie 50% pigesnė ir tuomet aviakompanijos turės daug mažiau kaštų savo verslui ir atnaujinti savo lėktuvų parkus.

  • @mawazoaliselemani July 1, 2024

I don't know why Boeing mess up like this people really love these plane only asking you boing make them safe like before is it too much to ask?

  • @joopsmit6910 July 1, 2024

Age old prioritising profits and investors above quality. Ironically when quality drops and crashes happen, stock price drops. Even my 16 year old Asperger's kid can see the problem there. Replace top management with engineers, pay the specialists their worth and listen to the quality inspectors. At this time: If it's Boeing…I ain't going.

  • @arion2000 July 1, 2024

i once asked my company management this question, between quality and time to market which one would you prioritise? Without fail and proudly they announced time to market all the time . That just about sums up the kind of philosophy these corporations work on

  • @trevorrobinson2941 July 1, 2024

I loved the time when I had a choice of airlines and a choice of planes I wanted to fly on. Lockheed and McDonnell Douglas made good planes to and Boeing was better when they had competition. Just like most greedy companies they stop producing the products we love. The 737 was never a loved plane it was just a replacement for the beloved 727. Southwest and American Airlines are just as guilty as Boeing, because they are the ones that demanded they build these things when the rest of us wanted them gone. Make something better!!!!

  • @user-ew5eh2co5p July 1, 2024

Management blame the workers. Workers blame the management. It’s not my fault culture.

  • @trevorrobinson2941 July 1, 2024

    Boeing needs nationalized

  • @kcleong7135 July 1, 2024

Its all the scum bag workers in Boeing company

  • @asra6166 July 1, 2024

Do people even still fly boeing these days? I actively choose not to.
