Former Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, after failing to appear for the fifth time before the Federal High Court in Abuja for his arraignment in the N80bn fraud case brought against him by the EFCC, on Thursday applied to the Court, Through his lawyer, to transfer his trial to Lokoja, the capital of Kogi State.

She tweeted, “Sierra Leone’s Parliament today unanimously passed the Prohibition of Child Marriage Bill 2024, a crucial piece of legislation that I championed. This private member’s bill outlaws child marriage, a harmful practice that has long plagued the nation.”
