Boodram and La Borde crowned champions at RBL Junior Golf Open

Jerseem Boodram and Elise La Borde emerged as the top winners at the 2024 RBL Junior Open Golf Championship held at the Pointe-a-Pierre Golf Course. Boodram showcased his skill by starting with a strong round of 69 on the opening day and continued his impressive performance with rounds of 75 and 73 to secure a comfortable victory. This marked Boodram’s second title of the year, following his previous win at the Brechin Castle Open in January. On the female side, La Borde clinched the title with a total of 261 strokes. In the 14-15 age category, Enzo Jean-Noel and Madison Davis emerged victorious, while Ethan Collier and Alexandra Hill claimed the titles in the 11-13 category.

Boodram’s exceptional performance in the tournament earned him the top spot in the male category, with a total score of 217. He was followed by Ayden Ali and Alex Kangoo in second and third place, respectively. La Borde’s impressive play secured her the top position in the female category with a score of 261. In the 14-15 age group, Enzo Jean-Noel, Aaian Labru Dragin, and Zachery Sahandeo stood out as the top performers, while Madison Davis and Dayna Cooper showcased their skills in the girls’ division. Ethan Collier, Ben Laughlin, and Varin Singh excelled in the 11-13 age group for boys, with Alexandra Hill, Kahlan Francis, and Zoe Haustant displaying their talent in the girls’ category.
