BPD in Pursuit of Woman Suspected of Burglarizing Home and Stealing Mail in Central Bakersfield

Bakersfield police in California are seeking assistance in identifying a woman accused of burglarizing a home twice in central Bakersfield. The first incident occurred on February 26 when the suspect allegedly stole a mail package from a home on Park Way near California Ave. Two weeks later, the same suspect returned to the home and carried out another burglary. The police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect.

The woman is described as an adult in her 20s, standing at five feet five inches tall, and weighing around 200 pounds. She has light brown or red hair and was last seen wearing a black and grey hooded sweatshirt, a black skirt, black Puma sandals, and a beige plaid design backpack. Photos provided by the Bakersfield Police Department show the suspect’s appearance clearly, in the hopes that someone may recognize her.
