After allegations of sexual assault and rape against the comedian Russell Brand were published, some were quick to take up conspiracy theories about why they had been published.

Brand set the wheels in motion when he published a video in which he rebutted the allegations the night before they were aired and claimed they were linked to an attack on his freedom of speech.

    Wow its so typical and common that anyone that has a great following and opinions that don't happen to be shared by the government. I remember when you used to actually be able to speak your mind without fear of jealous tv news networks or what used to be leaders that worked to do what would better the lives of the people. I mean think about a marine who is trained to help people seduta man on a subway and sadly the man died, but if that man had ended up stabbing three people and killing them people would have asked why nobody did anything. The news networks and other shows tend to always be such experts on how police officer associative conduct themselves when they have never done the job before in their lives you never know what you're dealing with and how you're going to react to certain things when it happens we're all human they're not robots, and just like anyone else they want to go home to their families at night and they have to make split-second decisions and sorry you don't understand that. Now I'm not saying there aren't bad cops out there but there's bad everybody out there working everywhere and they don't focus on a certain type of person because thier probably sociopath's. We need to stop you finding them and defending for the job they do. I can definitely say I wouldn't want to do it because I wouldn't have the patience. Either way isn't it innocent until proven guilty. So why would YouTube stop paying him for what he is doing for them. I think it's pathetic and weak and basically theft. You know if anybody actually had a backbone and any of these companies they would just say listen, we will support Mr brand unless he is found other than that we will not fold under the pressure of the unproven aligations. Just like I stopped drinking Gatorade when they drop tiger woods because I thought it was a very weak and cowardly way to handle that situation. My best thought was they could have just but a commercial spot and basically

    Russell, rather than let it get you down remember this: you're an influence marketer. That's your job, that's what you've decided to do with your life. But instead of just shilling for overhyped products or services, you shill for professional Nazi propagandists, blood libellers etc.. Instead of just introducing your fans to crap-but-sales-stimulating life hacks, you introduce them to lies that have directly killed millions of innocent people for profit – and which are also a deliberate scam on the people who actually believe them. No matter what happens to you here, you'd still be doing much worse in a society that properly punished your worst misdeeds rather than actively rewarding them. Stay grateful for that.

    I've read the reporting and Brand's texts to "Nadia" are basically a full confession. I hope he gets a prison sentence that reflects the damage he did to his victims.
