Guess what umm caregivers are covered by Medicare/Medicaid don’t be stupid. In home support services pays my sister for 24 hour care for her 22 years old severely disabled son so she doesn’t have to place him in a nursing home. They do the exact same for elderly people and if the family members are incapable they send a certified caregiver to the home. the doctors/visiting nurses should have made a referral and that would’ve solved the problem.

I'm so sorry Mrs. Murray had to indure such torture. She was hanging on waiting for help 😢 Mr. Murray was old and sick as well. He probably didn't cognitively understand what ..why .. how 😢 to initiate the Government assistances

  • My mother had a stroke in 2016, no one in the house realized this. I called her every day. I heard her voice and realized it right away. Had the ambulance called then she was neglected in nursing home a few days out of the hospital. So I removed her after 2 days of that house of horror. Little did I know… My middle sibling who lived at home with my mother and father took responsibility for her care. I arranged with other sibling to rotate taking care of her. My father was in no shape to take care of her. Not one week later I called and no one answered. My father was able to contact me to inform me of what was happening. My brother left her alone, no meds, food, changing, etc. I immediately had him call 911. I reached them in the hospital and had charges filed against my brother. The charges were Neglect, Elder Abuse, Endangerment, etc. I threw him out of their home, had my father live with me, and took full responsibility for both of them. Since I could not do this alone, I sought help from the Social Worker, Doctors, Hospice and friends. My mother past, then my father a year later. Brother died in between that time, but I have no issue with that. Elder Services drop the ball, when she was under my brother's care, but I would not allow them to drop the ball again. You take care of the ones who took care of you. If you can not do it, Get Help!!!!!!!!!!

    What!

  • @monanoles961 July 4, 2024

You all keep trying to blame the husband, but I'm guessing you all can't hear well. Her husband was an elder himself and DIED 3 MONTHS AFTER HIS WIFE! Stop BLAMING THE WORLD FOR THIS. ONLY HER CAREGIVERS SHOULD BE HELD RESPONSIBLE, but the real question is why wasn't she in a nursing home because her kids don't look mentally competent to watch their mom? I'm sure she got a check and had insurance! Her insurance would've paid for it!

  • @carleagrace4020 July 4, 2024

Monsters! What kind of cold hearts can watch their own mother suffer in such a horrific way? Lock them up and throw away the key.

  • I’m 10 mins in and just bawling my eyes out. I can’t even fathom the torture she endured……😢😢😢

  • Do they have any disabilities, why wasn't the state involved? These two don't look capable of taking care of themselves, the state looks bad.

  • These animals shouldn’t be here I’m so sorry 😞 for the mom this is not right I cannot believe that they would do something so horrible 😩 to the mother like this god bless her soul punish those animals !!! 🙏🏻

  • Can't believe that they will leave their own mother to suffer that way so sad

This makes me sick my mom couldn't walk wash herself go to the bathroom. Wr had home health care. They did not do enough. She was admitted to nursing home. I did so much but that is my job. My mom died in a nursing home. I went to see her everyday. She died in hospice. My sistet cheryl and I vicki the day we saw her with played her favorite song chances are by Johnny mathes.after we left she died that night

  • @TerraDiASMR July 4, 2024

You don’t need to have medical training to know that you shouldn’t let anyone lay in their own feces and urine. Their mother gave birth to them, had sleepless nights, changed their diapers, cared for them when they were sick etc for years, but when time came for them to take care of their mother, they simply didn’t want to. It’s absolutely heartbreaking to hear the condition poor Sheila was in, she must’ve been in agony and to know that your own kids are the ones who are treating you this way, must’ve been even worse

  • @Godblessuall42 July 4, 2024

I get it. My siblings and I are trying to honor my mother's request, "she wants to stay home". Mother has dementia; legally blind from glucoma; incontinence; and had a stroke with limited mobility. I'm in the healthcare and its very overwhelming. All my siblings work and have families. We are remortaging mother's home to get money to pay for a day siiter. They were in over their heads. People dont consider the physical and mental toll that goes along with being a caregiver. You trying to honor your parents decision. IT'S SO HARD!

  • @schlical July 4, 2024

It was up to the husband/father to get assistance. I realize he is dead now, but while he was alive, pretty sure the "kids" left the care and decisions in his hands. I have heard enough to decide they are not responsible. They are "special"… and unable to make decisions. There is also a older sister that seems to be of right mind, she should have stepped in…if she cared.

  • @SayRedd2x July 4, 2024

Are yall basing their innocence off of how they “look”?🤔 Ppl are saying they “look” delayed. Have they taken a competency exam to back that up? I’m sure they would’ve had that done by now had they been incompetent

  • @el_pescadore July 4, 2024

These poor creatures are not and never have been capable of the duties and responsibilities of citizenship in the modern societies of western civilization. They’re only a couple generations removed from Stone Age civilization. Natural selection was manipulated, producing low I.Q. simpletons. These types aren’t limited to backwoods trailer parks. America has individuals of similar diminished mental capabilities with PhD’s and Doctorates in law and medicine serving as university professors, federal judges and medical doctors! The “equity” goals of DEI have failed spectacularly.

  • @kaylajasmine3035 July 4, 2024

The prosecutor cant read and its tough for me..

  • @Hamilton8122 July 4, 2024

They stated that the patient had Medicaid they could have put her in the facility without having to pay a dime. I’m not saying that she would be in a five star facility, but I think even a star one would probably be better than what they put her through. so I can’t afford to bring her someplace is ridiculous.

  • Poor woman😢

  • @viviancoleman8109 July 4, 2024

These kids look special needs themselves 🙏🏽

  • @taniathegreatify July 4, 2024

    This is DISTURBING

  • @rachelrobinson3771 July 4, 2024

It's no excuses to let your Parent suffer like that😭

  • @MissKarma1000 July 4, 2024

This is sad CLEARLY the 2 defendants ARE NOT MENTALLY WELL. I vote NOT GUILTY TO MURDER CHARGE, and MAYBE guilty to NEGLECT/SENIOR ABUSE. The sister on the stand testifying may have washed her hands of the family because of the dysfuntion primarily because she knows nothing was going to change, she doesnt want to speak ill of her mom but you can read into the fact that her family was sort of a lost cause as far as reasoning and rational.
