Markus Lee Gladue, 21, is wanted on warrants for aggravated assault, possession of an offensive weapon dangerous to public, and robbery in connection with the incident at Churchill LRT station. Edmonton police are actively searching for Gladue, along with Brady Rodney Desroches-Smith, 28, who has been charged with aggravated assault and robbery. Desroches-Smith was also wanted by Grande Prairie RCMP for first-degree murder at the time of his arrest. Additionally, Travis Damian Houle, 35, is facing charges of aggravated assault, robbery, and failure to comply with a probation order in connection with the assault on the 64-year-old victim.
The victim was initially approached by a man at the Churchill LRT platform before being assaulted and robbed by a group of assailants. One of the suspects was armed with pepper spray, and another was seen riding a bicycle during the attack. The group also included a female suspect.
