'Clarence Thomas is corrupt – end of story': Rep. Jasmine Crockett

Ethics scandals, partisan rulings, and the lack of accountability are just some of the many problems currently plaguing the Supreme Court, with public confidence in the institution at a near-historic low. “Clarence Thomas is corrupt. End of story,” Rep. Jasmine Crockett tells Melissa Murray, in for Ali Velshi. “Nobody gets this kind of money and isn’t influenced in any way.” They’re joined by Michael Waldman, President and CEO of the Brennan Center for Justice, who points out that Thomas represents the fringe who have now “become the mainstream on this court.”

    This is funny since your problem is that you don’t have a court giving you what you want. The progressive court ruled with their un-Constitutionao nonsense from the days of FDR! Clarence Thomas isn’t corrupt. You just keep saying it in hopes that if you say it enough the sheep will believe it.

    Why hasn't anybody actually looked into that RV? That is a busconversion that he bought in 1991? It was built by one of the top converters in the country that specializes in custom builds for the super rich. The market value of that thing in 1991 would have been in the $1.5 million bracket. You can't even buy an old used on for $225K. I am familiar with these units. Check it out.

    If P.O.T.U.S has 4 year 2 term limit, why no have a 2 term 8 year limit for S.C.O.T.U.S. A lifetime appointment gives one too much power with no ramifications for misuse and outright abuse of that power.

    I have been watchingthis whole mess in the USA for several months and I have come to one conclusion-the USA legal system isso twisted with hidden rather than plain laws that the system breeds lawyers by the thousands. Why couldn't it be simple like"the judge (or person) took bribes-guilty". What the system does is make fat, rich lawyers bt the thousands. Absolute rubbish and now the USA is caught in its own net.

    Yet we let this all happen. Again this is where our checks and balances don't work. Oh, that's right there are no checks and balances for judges. They are above the law. We are proving it by all this corrupt talk yet nothing happens. A president should not be the one putting these guys in power.

    Thank God someone is trying to change the supreme court I also fault them for everything that’s going on they have double standards and I also agree people should be voting for judges. I fault them more then Trump

    The problem with this country is not the supreme court, supreme congress, supreme senate or supreme anything. This country is screwd from the get go. Trump is more corrupt than all the judges but majority of Americans want him as president. We have a sick nation and only an overhaul of the entire constitution based on mutual respect, equality and justice for ALL. Not just a particular tone of color. Without that, there’s no hope!!
