Controversial Parenting Moment: Handling a Tantrum

A father faced criticism after refusing to give in to his child’s tantrum. As the toddler adamantly refused to get up from the ground, the super calm parent opted for a different approach and lifted the child up by the jacket, groceries in one hand and the child in the other.

The dad: why does everyone hate me? he just wouldn’t get up

  • @loisalanoa6342 June 27, 2024

    Cruel? 😂

  • Lol anyone criticizing stuff like this are single or a single mom who let their kids raise themselves facts

I would not allow my child to be so rude. I would’ve done the same thing the father did it did not hurt the kid, but it let him know he’s not gonna get away with that kind of crap.

Some people are just nosy they don’t know how to work with kids or have kids. I work with kids all the time and there’s some of them kids that are very disrespectful because the parents didn’t know how to raise them and do them right so then they come to me and then then I have to take and make things right with them that dad was not being wrong and any way he was doing his job and if people can’t understand that people are sick they need to go back to sweep their own back door off before they come knocking on somebody else’s door

He could smack his he kid on the ass for all I care it’s not mine it’s his to do what he finds is necessary within the law and he did

Most times this work fine. If you want to draw less attention just whisper that his sister is getting more candy and he will quietly follow you immediately.

cool dad, just picking him up without argueing. There is no use of discussing endlessly, kids of that age think they are almighty, so they won't listen. The sooner they realize they aren't the better.

  • @hectorespinoza5949 June 27, 2024

Bro i would love if my dad did that to me lmaooo

  • @randyl8441 June 27, 2024

  • @glenjones237 June 27, 2024

    good dad

  • @grandmasteryoda7912 June 27, 2024

If u dont have kids don’t lecture someone on how to raise their children easy as that also that is a good father not giving in to a pussy little attitude and building a strong future man

  • @lauriej9418 June 27, 2024

oh leave him alone. I think that he taught him a lesson.

  • @blackqueen5201 June 27, 2024

No he did great good job dad

  • @barbera501 June 27, 2024

I'd hazzard a guess that not one parent made a negative comment about that normal dad 😂

  • That's a great solution… and you get to do some curls extra that day. Kids love to be picked up and used as weights.

I mean, he basically is like, "I see the tantrum, I respect the tantrum, I'm just going to move the tantrum a bit". If that was me as a child I'd probably be laughing by the time we got where we were going and asking for it again.

  • @seanmolloy6188 June 27, 2024

It's not a parent's job to respect a child's emotions. It's a parent's job to teach their kids what is acceptable and not acceptable behavior in society. Also it's a parent's job to teach their child Newton's third law and if you don't know what that is you should probably stay in school

  • @ritiiktheeagle June 27, 2024

Social media users should mind their own business if they don't know anything about parenting.

  • @willshaw643 June 27, 2024

The same people who are blaming the dad for being affectionless are the same ones who didnt get disciplined and still throw tantrums

  • @Andrewbaysura1 June 27, 2024

Imagine of he let's his kid have his temper tantrum…

    In the old british voice.
20 years down the line a new Male Karen is produced and freed into the wild.

  • @nahomybaez7058 June 27, 2024

If I ever pulled this crap i would get the chankla or belt which ever was closer

  • Bro…those people don't know what 'cruel' is. He didn't hurt the kid – something my mother would've done without thinking. He just picked the kid up, and went. That's firm, yet kind.

  • @buckeyebertie9099 June 27, 2024

Kid was fortunate. My mother would have left me. Her lessons were learned quickly.
