    Minimum wage is definitely too high rn. We've priced out entry level jobs to the point where getting a job is a nightmare. It's not just businesses that benefit from lower minimum wage. It's anyone who wants to start out in the job market. Since minimum wage jobs are not where you want to set goals to, but where you get your foot in the door. I would take a five dollars an hour job if it meant I actually had a job.

    I actually think we have the opposite problem that China does where China has so much cheap labour that there isn't much room to grow for all the people with degrees and such. Out here in Canada, the more we raise minimum wage, the less people will be able to find a job.

    Does this guy think every consumer is a shop owner? How will people buy more if shop owners pay their workers less? His theory doesn't even make sense from a free market theory perspective. He doesn't even understand what he is preaching.

    I didn’t want to eat after I gave birth at the hospital, so my nurse made an orange juice, cherry juice, and Sprite concoction for me. It was fine but I felt like my blood sugar was spiking. I waited til hours later in the morning when my husband brought a homemade breakfast in for me(brisket and veggies).
    I wish I would’ve declined the soda, but she seemed really concerned about me not eating immediately after, and I also got no rest that night(hello, baby!)

    There should be no minimum wage. Companies should compete with each other over hiring good employees. Companies with low wages and bad practices will have difficulty hiring and will fail. It also allows for people to be hired for easy jobs: mostly teenagers. Think about it, if a business is required to hire an employee for $20/hr, what are the odds they're going to pick a teenager or a homeless person over literally anyone else?

    Raising minimum wage wont solve any problems. The majority of people working minimum wage jobs are financially illiterate. When their income increases, so will their spending. Don't come at me if you're living paycheck to paycheck while ordering ubereats and buying garbage off of tiktok shop. Go read a book about budgeting and i promise you, your life will be easier. You won't be as happy as you are now since you cant splurge on yourself, but you'll be better off in the longrun.

    I would say that this is fake if i didn't know people who think that removing minimum wage would lead to higher relative wages due to decreased inflation. These people are so under capitalist propaganda that they think anything that interferes with "natural" free market is bad.
