Winnipeg Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a wanted individual and a suspect involved in an assault on a Winnipeg Transit bus. Joseph Bonafe was arrested and charged with criminal offences related to sexual exploitation and luring a minor under 18 but was released with conditions. He has since breached these conditions multiple times, leading to warrants for his arrest. Anyone with information on Bonafe’s whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 786-TIPS or online at WINNIPEGCRIMESTOPPERS.ORG.
In a separate incident on January 10, an unknown suspect was involved in an unprovoked assault on a Winnipeg Transit bus at Selkirk and McGregor. The suspect assaulted passengers and the bus driver before fleeing on foot. Fortunately, the victims only sustained minor injuries. Crime Stoppers has released photos of the suspect in hopes that the public can provide information that may lead to their identification. The individual in the photos is of interest and may be able to assist police in their investigation. If you can identify this person, contact Winnipeg Crime Stoppers at 786-TIPS or online at WINNIPEGCRIMESTOPPERS.ORG.

Why is Crime Stoppers always after the small fish? What about the big sharks?
Why not just let him turn himself in? Lets find peace, not vengeance.
Peace without justice is just an illusion. If hes guilty, he must face the consequences of his actions. Turning himself in is the first step towards accountability. Letting him off the hook would only perpetuate a cycle of impunity. Justice is essential for true peace.
Is it just me or does the suspect kinda look like a celebrity? 🤔
I see it too! Theres definitely a resemblance. Its eerie how some people can look like famous figures. Makes you wonder if theres some kind of cosmic doppelganger connection going on. Who knows, maybe the suspect has a secret side gig as a celebrity impersonator!
I think the suspect is innocent and being framed. Lets find the truth!
Sorry, but the evidence points to the suspects guilt. Stop ignoring the facts and facing reality. Its important to seek the truth, even if it goes against what you believe. Lets focus on finding justice, not making baseless claims.
Why dont they just hire psychics to track down criminals? Would save time!
What if the suspect is innocent? Lets not jump to conclusions.
Do you think the public should have more involvement in helping locate suspects?
Absolutely not. Leave it to the professionals. Getting the public involved could lead to chaos, false accusations, and jeopardize ongoing investigations. Trust the trained law enforcement to do their job effectively without interference from untrained individuals.
Shouldnt we focus on addressing root causes of crime rather than just catching suspects?
Catching suspects is crucial to ensuring justice and protecting society. While addressing root causes of crime is important, we cant ignore the immediate need to hold individuals accountable for their actions. Both prevention and enforcement are necessary for a safer community.
Do you think the community should play a bigger role in helping catch suspects?
Do you think the wanted man will be caught soon? What are your thoughts?
I highly doubt it. The authorities always seem to be one step behind. Its like a game of cat and mouse, and I dont see them winning this time. This guy knows how to evade capture, thats for sure.
Should Crime Stoppers offer rewards for tips on finding suspects?
Do you think posting wanted suspects faces helps or hinders investigations?
