DOJ charges former Apple employee with theft of autonomous car tech for China

35-year-old Weibao Wang was charged with stealing Apple’s trade secrets for self-driving cars and fleeing to China. Officials say Wang is still at large and if convicted faces ten years in prison for each trade secret violation. NBC News’ Dana Griffin shares the latest.

    China will never help . The way they operate is wait and steal designs. Think this is a problem. They are coming over the border in droves. Now why would they do that when they could just fly in. Hmmm. I wonder.

    Past : chinese SPIES and THIEVES stealing and hacking sensitive American industrial secrets

    Present: chinese companies making EVs and other next generation products at a fraction of what they cost American counterparts

    Future: American companies like Tesla and Apple have to layoff MILLIONS of American workers and shut down factories

    Once the word gets out, the next generation will start to hear about it from their parents. Eventually people will stop purchasing from China and chinese retail apps. Before Christmas, I was browsing at a store with my daughter, and she pointed at something she liked. When I looked at the bottom to see the size, I saw made in China, said "Nope", and walked away. This will have a very negative effect on the entire world's view of China.

    Sure keep hiring people from countries that are adversaries especially China and they will siphon off all the tech you have. That’s what China does. They don’t invent anything they steal it always have always will.

    I’m Singaporean, very soon America will claim china stole the ideas from America on how to produce an nuclear bomb but Americans conveniently forgot which country invented the first gunpowder opps!! Who? No you’re joking!! China?
