I don’t care if those 2 cognitive challenged adults can’t add 15 plus 65, but if they were showering and eating then they knew their mother should also been bathed and feed.If they did not sit in poop & pee pants then they knew their mother should not sit in it. This is an obviously case of serious severe adult abuse and they both know they could have asked for help. They also could and probably were receiving money from SSI for the both of them and collecting a check for their mother ,they did not need her house, they easily could have rented an apartment with adult services helping them also to find a place.I will not believe these 2 were so mentally challenged that they were not taking care of themselves and hanging out w/ friends and living a life for themselves.i will be interested to hear of services they were possibly using and of other family and friends that knew what was going on.

How hard is it to clean ur mama up every time she uses the bathroom?? Idc if ur not the sharpest tool in the shed im sick of these excuses yal r making for their behavior

  • @tosha723 July 5, 2024

Even if they were in over their heads they could have at least bathed and fed their mom!!! This is pure laziness and they should rot in prison! I could never do this to a dog let alone my own mother!!!

  • The system is the one to blame.

  • After the father died I blame the older sister for not getting her mother out of there. They never agreed to take on the care of their mom, it was the head strong father that assigned them the job. And the sister felt like she was too good to come in the house to check on the mom. They are not guilty!! I wouldn't want to do that either, it takes special people to do that kind of work.

That poor woman must have been in so much pain. RIP.

  • @gearlewarren5668 July 5, 2024

I had to stop at 8:10. I can’t even finish.

  • @user-vl7bf9ih6u July 5, 2024

The other sister who took the stand didn’t observe any of this when she would come over and visit? Something must be wrong with the entire family!

  • @timbeatty8411 July 5, 2024

    What a shame.

  • Naaahhh if they just “grew up that way and didn’t know what was bad and not okay” then if the sister’s testimony is true, they wouldn’t have hidden stuff from that sister when she would stop by.

  • @foxetalez July 5, 2024

I'm really surprised the brother and sister didn't contact Adult Protective Services and get resources like you can get the government to have a home health aide come to the house and clean her up every single day they will clean her feed her Medicaid her I don't understand why this kid saying oh we're doing the best we can know you're not you're literally not doing the best of anything you're giving your mom the worst

  • @carleagrace4020 July 5, 2024

The sister who didn’t live there and visited her mother in February should be held accountable too. She saw her mother in those filthy conditions and she went on about her business. Cold hearted so called daughter!

  • @MELISAC389 July 5, 2024

Well in my opinion the other daughter that lives off in the suburbs of Chattanooga should be held responsible as well. Because when she visited the home she knew they couldn’t care for her, so why didn’t she reach out to the police or social services and report that her mother wasn’t being properly taken care of, sense the dad wouldn’t give in for no one else but them to care for her. It’s obvious these two individuals have mental issues of some sort.

The sister testified she knew her siblings were immature & a bit off. After the father passed she claims she visited still… There is no way you didn't realize the condition was MORE unfit than it typically is. Nothing in her said (as she tesified)… My siblings are immature & off left with my mom there is no way they are truly caring for her. I think HER and the entire family (if there is an extended family) never checked on this lady. I don't care if my mom is covered up if I can see her eyes & face even upper body I know without a doubt if something is wrong & I am reporting it IMMEDIATELY or asking if a professional can do a wellness check & act IF you can't take her in yourself.. When we as humans get sick especially really sick it is absolutely in our face! Nobody checked on this lady in person.

  • @candy-wi2fm July 5, 2024

Those kids look like…Children Of The Corn

  • @chiloveradiouncut July 5, 2024

These two people looked like they needed care themselves. This shouldn't have gone to trial. I hope the defense attorneys do their jobs properly!

  • @lizpurr8402 July 5, 2024

As far as I’m concerned elderly abuse is just as egregious as child abuse. May the victim Rest In Peace- and may the two demons rot in hell.

  • @Roosters-rants1977 July 5, 2024

    This attorney sounds brand new.
