A helicopter was found damaged and laying on its side at the Sacramento Executive Airport, and police allege it was stolen and crashed.

    How come someone easily had access to a chopper, with no security?

    California is becoming a total mess, thanks to its soft justice. What used to be a dream is becoming a nightmare.

    Way too many laws and regulations, causing more trouble than order. More laws to protect the rights of criminals than to condemn them. Sadly, if nothing is done to change it, the State will continue to decay and collapse.

    This reminds me of the Barefoot Bandit from Washington state a few years back. He managed to steal atleast 3-4 different fixed-winged aircraft. I think he learned to fly by playing flight simulators and watching Kings Schools dvds.

    Are you kidding me? I used to hop a fence like that when I was 14 without even slowing down from a running start. Or without even running. I've seen kids today climb over a 6 foot stone wall albeit with something to stand on though even just a boost would do it.🤡🤡

    I get the fence joke hahaa, but I'm sure she's probably talking about how any security wouldn't have seen what was happening to have been able to stop them from getting to the point of even entering the unit much less the premises.

    Are you kidding me, if any charges gonna be for that person? We have our 9/11. Is another one was in the making? That person didn’t have good intentions at all. If they let this one go with out stiff penalty and long imprisonment then we could expect worse.

    I've always wanted my own helicopter, I've never considered stealing one though.
    Just when I was getting used to seeing auto theft skyrocketing in the news now the hood is boosting helicopters? 🤷‍♂️
