Grocery Store Robbery Suspect Sought



HOUSTON, TX — Crime Stoppers and investigators with the Houston Police Department are searching for a suspect responsible for a robbery suspect shown in surveillance photos.

The offense occurred on March 27, 2013 at approximately 9:40 pm. An employee at a retailer located on the 12500 block of Briar Forest Drive had just collected money from inside of the register and was in the process of handing a money bag to the store’s manager. The suspect, an unidentified black male, walked up behind the victim and grabbed the bag from he hands before the exchange could occur. The suspect fled the scene on foot with the bag of money.

The suspect is described as an black male, between 20-30 years of age, standing between 5’6″ and 5’8″ tall and weighing approximately 180-220 lbs. He has brown eyes and black hair.
