On March 5, reports came in of a possible kidnapping along Queen Mary Highway involving a white or silver Toyota Tacoma quad cab and three masked individuals who forcibly took two occupants out of a BMW SUV and drove them to the Half Penny area. The victims could not identify the suspects but mentioned that there were possibly four individuals involved.

Five days later, on March 10, the Virgin Islands Police Department responded to a gunshot victim at the Roy L. Schneider Medical Center. The victim had been at Savanero Restaurant when an unknown male approached and began shooting at him before fleeing the scene. The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was admitted to the medical center for treatment.
