A 22-year-old man was found shot dead over the weekend in East Birmingham. The victim, identified as Maleak Chandler, was discovered near the 8300 block of Vassar Avenue around 11:15 p.m. on March 16. Chandler, who hailed from Birmingham, was declared dead at the scene by Birmingham Fire and Rescue.
