Acting Chief Executive Officer of eGov, Anika Shuttleworth, shared that the journey towards certification started in October 2020 and involved rigorous external audits in June, September, and December 2023. She mentioned that the audits challenged eGov to evaluate and optimize its business processes. Shuttleworth noted that the organization now has 18 certified internal quality auditors, showcasing their commitment to excellence. She reaffirmed eGov’s dedication to using technology to positively impact the lives of Jamaicans and highlighted the entity’s role in implementing ICT projects across government ministries, departments, and agencies.
