– Eleventh hour legal wrangling as #AlecBaldwin’s manslaughter trial for the on-set shooting of cinematographer #HalynaHutchins is set to kick off in a matter of days.

    Adam Lally did not prove Karen Read murdered John O'Keefe beyond reasonable doubt.
    The defenses last three witnesses also proved scientifically that John O'Keefe was not hit by Karen Reads SUV.

    I honestly believe K R is innocent…in saying this I also believe John O'Keefe death needs to be finalized by finding the murderer or murderers.
    There are so many victims being; John O'Keefe, his parents, his brother, Karen Read and her parents.😢

    apt in mass the prossicussion has the burden so they go fast according to judge bev i reakon jackson won that one lally fecked up the timeline opening statements 12.45 phone expert karen was on johns wi fi at 12.40 so he changed it to 12.30.

    Great episode Josh! I just don't buy the wild conspiracy theory and despite all the problems I feel the CW have proved their burden so hoping for a guilty verdict of sorts. Watching from Cape Town South Africa

    Alec Baldwin was negligent and should be convicted, why was he even putting his finger on the trigger on a scene that didn’t require him to do so! There were previous incidents where he would go rogue with the weapon. Just my opinion.

    Enjoyed your perspective. I submit the Defense did a horrible job. In fact it is they who infantiled the Jury. By virtue of badgering the witnesses, continually asking the same question over and over- the jury would have gotten the gist after the first time, screaming the ‘C’ word, and insisting the jury form be changed which already had the not guilty option, was a huge mistake having the Jury listen while the Judge read the charges again! They were smart enough to understand that form! What a mess this guy made! Also his closing he referenced John O’Keefe and that Karen was actually the better of the two! I think there are way more than one on the jury that think Karen Reed is guilty. She and her attorneys were not sympathetic in the least. Looking forward to Jury feedback.

    Cover up or not, you could never convince me that she hit him with a car. Period. You would think that would be it. Sad thing is, people watch defendants and how they act and they judge that. Liking her as a person should never be part of a jurors judgement of the crimes that they are looking at. If I knew I was innocent and felt that I was being framed and lied about, I would be incredulous and shaking my head in disbelief as well. Judge Bev chiding Karen in open court like she did was so unprofessional. I can see how she feels like they are trying everything to put her away and being in disbelief that this is her life at the moment.

    Jackson was fantastic but then again like you said didn’t hit more. Lally was just bull. He mistated facts numerous times. I watched this trial. He was wrong with alot of his closing

    I think Alec Baldwin should have man opt and said yes I did shoot her yes I will serve the 18 months… Just like Hannah Gutierrez should have said yes I was responsible for putting that live around in there

    Closing arguments were good but again they both needed more time. CW did not prove its case.

    Not sure if Karen Read's case has had a verdict yet but it's a very confusing case. I can see both sides of it but I truly believe that she is innocent of his death and there was a cover-up.

    As for Alec Baldwin's case, I believe that it was an accident but he should be accountable for mishandling the gun during shooting the movie.

    Congrats on your 20th episode Josh! Love the new show and your perspective!

    Another great episode, Josh. I would have liked to have heard in the closings, "Sadly, John O'Keefe, a police office and a father of two lost his life and we will likely never know how it happened" Neither side convinced me.

    As always, thank you for informative and straightforward commentary. It's refreshing to see you give your opinions in an unbiased manner. You are definitely the standard for courtroom reporting. I tried watching some others on this same topic and one put me to sleep and the other was so over the top and aggressive that I got Grancy Nace vibes. You deserve all the love and praise this community is throwing your way. Keep it up.
