Law enforcement in Bakersfield, California, reported the arrest of a man from Lake Isabella under the suspicion of operating an illegal gambling casino. The arrest took place on a Thursday, following a probation search conducted by deputies around 11 a.m. at the accused’s residence, located in the 2400 block of Cherry Street in Lake Isabella.
During their search, officers discovered evidence pointing to the man’s illicit activities. As well as the illegal casino operation, the man was also suspected of drug-related offenses. Accordingly, a 39-year-old man was apprehended at the scene, facing accusations of both operating an unlawful gambling den and drug charges.
While law enforcement continues to investigate the case, the Kern County Sheriff’s Office has requested the help of the public to provide more information. They’re particularly interested in gathering additional details that could potentially assist them in their ongoing enquiry.
