Tamaryn Bennett, a 25-year-old from Saratoga Springs, was arrested by the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday after a search warrant was executed. Bennett is facing a total of 20 felony charges, including two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, six counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, one count of criminal manufacture of an undetectable firearm, and 11 counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. This arrest followed an investigation where large amounts of methamphetamine, fentanyl, Xanax, suboxone, and cocaine were found at Bennett’s residence on Quevic Drive in Saratoga Springs.
The search warrant was carried out with the assistance of the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives and the Saratoga Police Department by the SCSO Special Operations Team and Narcotics Unit. During the search, law enforcement discovered not only drugs but also multiple 3D printers with 3D-printed firearm receivers for handguns, a MAC-10 machine gun, a 3D-printed firearm silencer, and several high-capacity ammunition devices. Additionally, a search at another location on Shippee Road in the town of Day revealed an AR-15 with high-capacity magazines. Bennett was taken into custody and arraigned in Milton Town Court before being placed in Saratoga County Jail without bail.
The arrest of Tamaryn Bennett sheds light on the seriousness of the charges he is facing, which include drug possession and weapon-related offenses. The discovery of various illegal substances and firearms, including 3D-printed items, underscores the extent of criminal activity that law enforcement encountered during the execution of the search warrant. Police expressed concerns about the presence of such dangerous items in the community and the potential harm they could cause if they had not been seized.
The collaborative effort between different law enforcement agencies, such as the SCSO, ATF, and Saratoga Police Department, demonstrates the importance of cooperation in conducting successful investigations and apprehending individuals involved in criminal activities. The thoroughness of the search conducted at multiple locations further indicates the dedication of law enforcement to ensuring the safety and security of residents in Saratoga County. The arrest and subsequent arraignment of Bennett signify a significant step in holding individuals accountable for their involvement in illegal drug trafficking and weapons possession.
As the case against Tamaryn Bennett progresses, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office will continue to work diligently to gather evidence and build a strong prosecution. The severity of the charges laid against Bennett highlights the seriousness of the offenses committed and the potential impact on the community. By removing dangerous substances and weapons from circulation, law enforcement aims to prevent further harm and maintain public safety in Saratoga Springs and the surrounding areas. The arrest serves as a reminder of the ongoing efforts to combat crime and protect local residents from the dangers posed by illicit drugs and firearms.

I think hes innocent! Maybe its a setup by the government. #conspiracytheory
Come on, lets be realistic here. Theres no evidence to support that wild conspiracy theory. Its important to stick to the facts and not get carried away with baseless speculations. Lets focus on the actual facts of the case before jumping to conclusions.
This guy needs a second chance, give him a break! Everyone makes mistakes.
Mistakes have consequences. Giving second chances is fair, but accountability is important too. Lets not overlook the impact of actions on others. Personal growth and change should be earned, not handed out freely.
I think they should give him a chance to prove hes changed.
No way, once a cheater, always a cheater. Dont fall for the same old excuses. Actions speak louder than words. Trust is earned, not given. Move on and find someone who respects you from the start.
I wonder if theres more to the story. Innocent until proven guilty, right?
Do you think hes guilty or getting framed? I smell a conspiracy here…
Do we really need to arrest people for so many charges? Seems excessive to me.
I wonder if the charges are exaggerated, maybe hes innocent? Just a thought.
Dont jump to conclusions without knowing the facts. Its easy to assume innocence, but the evidence must speak for itself. Lets not undermine the seriousness of the charges without proper information. Innocent until proven guilty doesnt mean turning a blind eye to potential wrongdoing.
I wonder if the justice system is too harsh on this guy… thoughts?
I wonder if hes innocent and being framed. Always two sides to a story!
I highly doubt it. The evidence against him seems pretty solid. Dont be so quick to jump to conclusions without knowing all the facts. Innocent until proven guilty, but lets not ignore the facts staring us in the face.
Do you think the legal system is too lenient on repeat offenders?
Absolutely, the legal system is far too lenient on repeat offenders. Its time we prioritize the safety of society over coddling criminals. Harsher penalties and stricter consequences are necessary to deter repeat offenses and protect the public. Enough is enough.
Do you think the justice system is too lenient on repeat offenders?
Whoa, can you believe this guy got nabbed for 20 felonies? Crazy stuff.
I wonder if the justice system will actually hold him accountable this time.
Wow, can you believe the audacity? I wonder what led to those charges.
Wow, cant believe the audacity! What a wild ride of events, right?
