The Dare County Narcotics Task Force conducted a drug bust in early March, resulting in the arrest of 21 individuals. The operation involved the Dare County Sheriff’s Office, local police departments, and various state and federal agencies. A total of 30 individuals were charged in connection with the bust, with 9 still facing outstanding charges.
Among those arrested, Shevon Harrell from Belhaven, North Carolina faces multiple charges related to cocaine possession and distribution, and is being held without bond. Other individuals facing charges include Jeremy Lewis, John Mackey, Agustin Silva, Colin Sherrill Jr., and Christopher Massoth, each charged with various drug-related offenses including possession with intent to sell or deliver controlled substances.
Several individuals, including Joseph Wright, Maya Flowers, Dion Daniels, Kamari Brooks, and Ronald George, were also arrested on charges related to possession and distribution of cocaine. Additional individuals facing charges include Courtney Sadler, Willie Andrews, Timothy Muldoon, Michael Thrash, Tony Armstrong, and Brian Shelton, among others, also charged with drug-related offenses.
The remaining individuals facing charges, including Lauren Johnson, Connor Sadler, Ronnie Brooks, Shakena White, Devin Kilgore, Bradley Slade, Julian Columbus, Cody Monroe, and David Lewis Jr., have warrants issued for their arrest but have not been apprehended yet. These individuals are facing various charges related to possession, distribution, and conspiracy to sell or deliver controlled substances.
As of the latest information available, the Dare County Sheriff’s Office has not made any additional arrests in connection with this case. The investigation was the result of a months-long effort by the narcotics task force and various law enforcement agencies. The individuals arrested in the drug bust range from various locations within North Carolina and Virginia, highlighting the widespread nature of the operation.

Maybe legalizing all drugs would actually reduce crime and make things safer 🤔
Legalizing all drugs would only lead to increased addiction, health issues, and societal harm. We need to focus on prevention, education, and rehabilitation programs instead of normalizing substance abuse. Legalization is not the solution to reducing crime and improving safety.
