Mississippi resident faces charges for involvement in Jan. 6 Capitol riot

Donald Walker, a 48-year-old man from Kosciusko, Mississippi, has been arrested on felony and misdemeanor charges related to the breach of the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021. Prosecutors have charged Walker with obstruction of law enforcement during a civil disorder, entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds, disorderly conduct in a restricted building, parading, picking, and demonstrating, and disorderly conduct in a Capitol building. He was arrested by the FBI on March 25, 2024, in Jackson, Mississippi, and made his initial appearance in the Southern District of Mississippi. Walker was seen on police body-worn camera footage attempting to pull down a bike rack barricade on the Capitol grounds, and later entering the Capitol building via the Parliamentarian Door.
