    There's only one reason for a (straight) man to be a feminist: because he thinks it's going to help him get laid. I know from personal experience that the strategy doesn't work. Women will forgive alpha males almost anything but when gamma types such as Gaiman or Whedon disappoint them, they retroactively turn their regret into "assault." I don't judge these guys and I believe these women are liars. Still, there's a bit of karma at work here.

    Why did she go back after the first time. I need more information before I can form a reasonable opinion. There should not have been another occurrence after the first time. I’m not going to dance on his grave until all the facts are presented. I’m tired of these lame females figuring out after a month and sometimes years that they were assaulted.

    When I was 19 I dated a 40 year old. Nothing weird or gross about it. We were both adults. There are dudes the same age as young women who are too pushy too. This is kind of a weak pearl clutching story.

    It's sad and disturbing he is acting like this in his 60s. 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢 I met him decades ago, and I thought he is pretentious and lame. "Alternative" girls liked him. I thought his writing is boring. Death is a cool character, but he didn't create her look.

    We should reserve judgment now, as we always should. The identity of the accused should not matter. We should not be concerned with duplicating the methodology and policy of others. A thorough investigation and possible trial will bring out the truth, if any truth of unlawful behavior exists to be discovered. Merely distasteful behavior is not my concern. That is for others to consume themselves with. When I read/watch entertainment I am only concerned with the quality of that entertainment.

    I think Neil Gaiman is an ass – but I was accused of sexual assault by a female co worker a couple of years ago, unjustly obviously, but I'm always willing to give someone in a similar situation the benefit of the doubt. It's no fun, let me tell you.

    I noticed more of a downward spiral after defending fandom saying when companies change things , it’s natural for fans not to like the changes. Then when his character was visibly changed when the Sandman was filmed and he told people to get over it. Well that time it was effecting his money.
