Ozark | Del Spares Marty | S1E1

More Ozark:

The Byrdes and their teenage kids, Charlotte and Jonah, are, for all intents and purposes, an ordinary family with ordinary lives. Except for the job of Marty, a Chicago financial advisor who also serves as the top money launderer for the second largest drug cartel in Mexico. When things go awry, Marty must uproot his family from the skyscrapers of Chicago and relocate to the lazy lake region of the Missouri Ozarks.

All the videos, songs, images, and graphics used in the video belong to their respective owners and I or this channel does not claim any right over them.

    I absolutely loved this show

  • @chrisblack9851 June 16, 2024

I believe he really killed him in this scene, and the entire series was all in his head during a state of purgatory

  • @turbotegs2102 June 16, 2024

time to rewatch Ozark I guess

  • @dChad014 June 16, 2024

Del was like Edd Stark in that they were too good of a character gone way too soon
We all would've loved more lines or screentime from both, but they got taken away early

  • @samlasley798 June 16, 2024

Love how Marty make sure to stand up so he’s on Del's level as he makes the pitch

  • @younggooni14 June 16, 2024

I like how this initial episode makes you feel so sorry for this dude Marty.. just for the rest of the series to show you the pieces of shit him and his family are

  • @gabeeskridge8291 June 16, 2024

Man , you talk about a close call! Never give up hope no matter what.

  • @carmenorosco9868 June 16, 2024

Thats what you call " thinking on your feet"

  • @pokemasterhek June 16, 2024

I was hooked from the first episode

  • @MegaMeco2 June 16, 2024

he says “I got to go “ to I have this brochure like a man walking through an Airport 😂

  • @gumborambo4540 June 16, 2024

Jason Bateman went from the Teen Wolf sequel to this fucking masterpiece. Dude is a legend.

  • @coffee_drinker2912 June 16, 2024

NOBODY UNDERSTANDS THIS: Before Marty got smoked – His mind pushed his kids and his wife into his head (which we all saw). The ENTIRE series is based on what his mind made him see, from his point of view to cancel or lessen the loss of his family and his imminent death, which he was unaware of. He actually died right there and it was a brilliant move by the writers that no one caught.

i adore this show but they ruined at the end

  • @crowcypher5821 June 16, 2024

    Del is terrifying af

  • @philliesfan3414 June 16, 2024

I’m sorry but Del was the most badass villain in this whole series. He will murder everyone in the room while greeting you with a smile. He never raised his voice or yelled in anger. Which made him that much more terrifying

  • @jomocheatham June 16, 2024

I don't know what to say to people that think Ruth Langmore was the most interesting character on this show. For me, its Marty Byrd; hands down.

  • @octaviolopezsr.4700 June 16, 2024

Through all those thinking, this is good fiction think again those Americans making deals with cartel. They make the news after a while.

  • @pierrefab7185 June 16, 2024

Imagine how many people have been in this situation in front of the real Cartel and couldn’t talk their way out……yikes

  • @user-lm2hq6tp4v June 16, 2024

I'm surprised the actor that plays Del hasn't been in a solo narco movie/show as a boss. He's the perfect narco

  • @kathconserv June 16, 2024

    These two are smoking HOT!

  • @Robot666House June 16, 2024

Was Del actually gonna kill him though?

  • @garethv1554 June 16, 2024

    A great lockdown series watched!

  • @backset5141 June 16, 2024

Del spared marty because del knew marty was innocent however as soon as marty mentioned about bein dirty he saved his own life. Del probably thought, well 1 witness everyone else is dead why spare him . Del always knew marty was loyal just needed to hear it and therefore spared him.

  • @caseykoll5750 June 16, 2024

Bruce prob saved Marty's life telling Del it was all him. Del was hesitant and listened to Marty unlike the rest. He still looked like he "had" to, but didn't want to, until he heard the pitch.

0:48 every time a dude in a bar keeps trying to strike up a deeper conversation with me when I’ve just been trying to politely deflect for a few minutes.

  • @randbarrett8706 June 16, 2024

I can’t imagine a more effective way to motivate your employees, talk about economic efficiency

  • @theonejmv June 16, 2024

The later seasons and episodes were never as good as this.

  • @TheDeadlyKnight June 16, 2024

Pulled completely outta Marty’s ass. Hilarious how the Ozark operation got conceived in the 1st place

  • @lessthanthreemetal June 16, 2024

Marty was only a good negotiator because he had something of immense value. He had the skill to portray that in a way in which the benefits outweighed those of killing him, but Del also knew he was innocent of stealing.

  • @billygowhoop June 16, 2024

This is what 100 speech looks like.

  • @rotkev June 16, 2024

Del, there’s money in the banana stand.
