The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs the public’s assistance identifying the suspect responsible for a robbery by force (purse snatching).
On Thursday, February 9, 2023 at 6:00 pm, the complainant was at a daycare parking lot, located at the 1500 block of West 25th Street, in Houston, Texas. The complainant stated that she was in the process on putting her child in her vehicle when she was approached from behind by an unknown male, who forcibly grabbed her purse for her. Once the suspect had the complainant’s purse, he got into a white four-door sedan, possibly a Hyundai, and fled the scene. Houston PD #199943-23
Suspect description: Black male, 20 to 25 years old, 5’11 to 6’0, 160 to 170 pounds, white shorts and brown hoodie.
Vehicle description: White four-door sedan, possibly a Hyundai.
