  • I will be working on a part two to this exploring all of his accomplishments and contributions throughout his life. So look out for that in the upcoming weeks

  • @jonathandamato1305 June 20, 2024

So when did DMX join Teddy in the Rough Riders

  • @jamesTBurke June 20, 2024

It's starting to sound like Theodore Roosevelts character is extremely similar to mine

  • @wardstyle9184 June 20, 2024

    More please!

  • @user-pv6lm1ik6t June 20, 2024

please talk about him, i love him so much… he was such a great guy. he learned from his past and did his best for his people.

  • @mikelubin148 June 20, 2024

No he sacrificed black people to lead his charge.

  • The Ruff Riders were also DMX's crew. DMX was the Bull Moose of Rap.

  • A true inspiration to Asthmatics everywhere. A wheeze cant keep down a Bull Moose.

Black Coffee does help btw. Tea as well. The steam loosens the mucus and the caffeine aids the airways to work at a less debilitated capacity. It isnt better than modern medicine. But can help control mild symptoms and prevent them worsening. Nicotine had the same idea but there is no "clean" delivery method in Victorian America. I am not a doctor. Thid is just my experience as a chronic ashmatic.

  • @DuckMarauder June 20, 2024

    More Teddy!

  • @Demolitiondude June 20, 2024

  • @brycetomecek5065 June 20, 2024

    Moar Rosevelt!

  • @hailtdaking18 June 20, 2024

    More teddy.

  • As someone who had 20/120 vision and didn't get glasses until I was 15, it really does change the way you see the world. Not just physically, but there is an actual change in your philosophy and attitude towards it.

  • @WeyounSix June 20, 2024

My stepdad was one of those cases of extreme willpower. He has a horrendous crippling back injury due to spinal degradation when he was just 20 or so, and he was confined to a wheelchair and doctors said it was likely he would not walk again. This struck a chord within him of immense strength of will, and every single day he worked on building his strength little by little, pushing through it until he was able to push through. He still is in immense pain, but the man walks around and actually does manual labor for a living. That is incredible.

  • @NG-fk6wc June 20, 2024

Probaly my favorte video you have done to date

  • @mandymagnolia1966 June 20, 2024

I remember another story where someone was telling him to control his daughter Alice and he said something like “I can run the country or control my daughter, I can’t do both” 😅

  • @mathewhex7045 June 20, 2024

Ahhh yes, Teddy roosevelt, not a great American. THE great american. I particularly like his way of dealing with racists.

  • @angelohunter9380 June 20, 2024

Please do another episode on Teddy Roosevelt!

  • @notright7 June 20, 2024

Yes, please more about this great bull of a man. He is one of my favorite presidents of all time. He is what every president should strive to be in helping the little people.

  • @markgoggin2014 June 20, 2024

He’s also where the teddy bear 🧸 comes from

  • @Anaris10 June 20, 2024

I am Yosemite Valley Miwok in California. Back in the day, there was legislation to give our homeland, Today's Yosemite National Park, to us as a Reservation. When President Teddy was asked about it, he replied "What, a private Hunting Reserve for a bunch of savages?" To this day we are not Federally Recognized or have ANY land whatsoever. We must rent the Mariposa County Fairgrounds for our Powwow. President Teddy is responsible for turning Black voters almost totally Democrat. His support for the racist folk of one Texas town where the recently transferred Black Army unit was accused of rioting and subsequent dismissal of Black soldiers who served with him in Cuba as well as stripping their medals, was found to be a lie. The folks of this town presented Army shell casings as evidence. They hid the fact that the local populace AND the Army shared this practice range, so the casings were easy to acquire. An earlier case of this type had already been exposed and Teddy refused to acknowledge it. Finally, years after the fact, the US Army exonerated the Black soldiers who had served with distinction. WHY don't you make video about this? He was an Imperialist who wanted to annex South America and the surrounding islands. I am Native and a Conservative but B.S. is B.S. regardless of who does it. Looking forward to your vid about this.

  • @tanneratkinson8970 June 20, 2024

Teddy Roosevelt is also one of my, If not, my favorite historical figures. I'd absolutely love to hear more about him. I already knew most of what was covered in this episode, but I still enjoyed hearing about it from you. And thanks to this, his father is now probably my second favorite historical figure.

  • @12Blackwing June 20, 2024

I would love to hear more.

  • @alexisramos4055 June 20, 2024

I'm now waiting for the rest of the video

  • @edpeachtree2987 June 20, 2024

It is always inspiring to hear about Roosevelt. Almost makes one feel they can do anything with their lot.

  • @MonkeyJedi99 June 20, 2024

That Warren hoe looks like a good garden tool to choose for the zombie fighter.

  • @fortyninehike June 20, 2024

Should've let this one go long, Teddy earned it

  • @josephbarresi9310 June 20, 2024

    More Roosevelt!!!!!!

  • @sharkchaos5160 June 20, 2024

    I loved this video.

  • @crispydiesel93 June 20, 2024

Ironically, black coffee of all of those wacky treatments is likely one of the ones that could actually help in some regards.

Caffeine is a methylxanthine, which can act as a mild bronchodilator and aid the symptoms of asthma

  • @felman87 June 20, 2024

You say "no harm, no foul" but literally there's harming. Not that I'm disagreeing with what's being done here. The saying works when playing recreational basketball to determine if someone is fouled or not (if they got hurt, yes. If not, no), but not when talking about wanted men.

  • @NotTheBomb June 20, 2024

Usually don’t listen to these, as I find your wife’s commentary to be interruptive and annoying. Sorry, but as you know I ain’t the only one to say it. But Teddy is SO Fcking cool, I want to know more. DAHM the annoyance.

  • @dylannavarro1902 June 20, 2024

I get the sinking suspicion that the majority of your non college views are mechanically inclined like me lol

  • @Carakav June 20, 2024

I'd be interested to know how aware he actually was of how those Indian schools were run. He might not have been fully aware of what we all know today in retrospect.

  • @domenicoallegri3935 June 20, 2024

"His father brought him to Europe when he felt sick. And he felt sick all the time.
    Therefore Teddy Roosevelt made him!"

Love your podcast but you have a weird logic

  • @colebrockman9579 June 20, 2024

Hell yeah this is my favorite president

  • @JediMasterEzio June 20, 2024

Dude, you've never heard of Rough Rider condoms? On top of that, once hearing there was a condom brand by that name, you actually expected a picture President Roosevelt, and did NOT expect a scantily clad woman on front? On a box of condoms? Seriously?

  • @enoughothis June 20, 2024

Teddy Roosevelt literally gets shot before making a speech

    "Oh no, anyways"

  • @UnrealPower113229 June 20, 2024
