    The reason is it often enough will bring more of the accused's victims forward. It's a terrifying thing, and brave af, and so often it's so publicly and ruthlessly a crucible for the accuser.. 9 out of 10 victims are going through it because they cannot live with staying silent and running the risk of the rapist attacking others. There's a vigorous attempt to shame and blame (in this crime exclusively, which is a whole other ball of wax..) but it's done not only for themselves.

  • Exactly Peirs it should be innocent till proven guilty. Our justice system is bs. Our media is just as bad.
