In this series, we are doing a deep dive behavioral analysis into the mind of a killer. Letecia Stauch is by far one of the cruelest, coldest, heartless yet intriguing killers I have studied. Our focus will be going over her jail calls/visits while simultaneously discussing why her brain works the way it does. Between joining the Volturi as a Vampire, having ninjas braiding her hair or talking about her long-lost son of the El Chapo cartel- Letecia never ceases to amaze us with the extent she is willing to go with her lies. She was deemed competent to stand trial & convicted on her charges after pleading not guilty by reason of insanity. She will spend the rest of her life in prison. These calls depict Letecia’s best efforts to build her defense as someone who was legally insane. It’s safe to say she failed. They also follow the deteriorating relationships between herself & family/friends. The amount of emotional/mental manipulation & abuse that occurs over this course of time towards them is incomprehensible. So, hang on tight because this goes deep!
