  This case is still opens to this day. We are puzzled by the incompetent work of the police officers, including the victim's father, Eki. New theories and discoveries have found every single day. Now the public is very suspicious of Eki's father that he might did some power abuse and made it seemed like this culprit "pegi" is the real culprit although it's very unlikely since this pegi was at another city working as a mere construction worker, far from a part of a "motorcycle gang".

  Strangely, my name also Linda, I'm from the same city ( Cirebon), when the case went viral, my friend sent a link that talked about this case……
  In my opinion, this linda in this case really got possessed. I heard the recording and I heard the cry " linda nya ga dateng" which translate to "linda didnt came" the poor soul is referring to linda didnt come to her funeral……
  It doesn't make any sense that linda is pretend to get possesed as Vina's case in the beginning is already classified as traffic accident and she already been buried.
  My mom who really interested in this case said that the real killer is the son of ex Cirebon's Regent,,,,
  In my opinion, during ex Cirebon's Regent tenure, he knows some or maybe a lot secret information about Cirebon police corruption, and he uses it as a shield to protect his son ( the murderer).
  I was born and raised in this city…..
  When i was a teenage, my friend's parents and teachers always adviced and reminded me to rejects boys politely if we dont like them. I grew old safely. No one tries to harm me because i reject them.
  Supernatural things is real, in indonesia, its very common to use 'susuk' to look pretty, it's a kind metal, usually gold, in the shape of small needle, but it's not smooth and shorter, usually only 50mm in length. The 'susuk' will inserted into the body, normally to face, if the user desires want to look prettier. During the process, the magic practitioner or what we call "dukun" will chanting some spells and the 'susuk' will enter the face without making any injury/scar nor pain. When I was younger, I don't believe this shit until I met someone who use 'susuk' herself and its coming out of her face because she broke the rule of not to eat certain type of banana. She asked me to touch her face and I could feel that the metal ( gold) was there. Normally, only the dukun who put the susuk can take it out, but my friend managed to take it out herself, she showed the metal to me, and it's so rough, I was curious, and I asked her, do you feel pain during the process? Is there any scar? She said " no, the dukun read some spell and the susuk is magically went inside her cheek in a second, no pain" she was indeed very beautiful.

  Indonesian's law mainly don't care if there is no money involved. There's plenty of "small" cases like this that just disappear because police refuse to investigate further and the good police often being shut down (their opinion) and will be threaten if they still try to do the cases
  (i can say this because my best friend who's Indonesian have relative who work in the law for generation and often told story on how disgustingly unfair behind the scene are when it comes cases and those good polices are often bullied and looked down upon)

  I believe this case have something to do with Eki's father… He is a police who caught several drugs mafia in his area several months before the accident. That area full of thugs and gangster like kids, maybe they got the commission to get rid of Eki and rrped Vina in the process. This is just my theory, btw…

  You see, cases like this usually involves higher ups or someone doing drugs, illegal shits and the likes. The police were probably bribed to close the case as soon as possible seeing they didn't even tried to solve it seriously. And it was hilarious how the girl named 'Linda' claimed that she was possessed by Vina's spirit. I bet her conscience didn't let her in peace knowing that she stayed silent after witnessing horrendous crime. She was mostly traumatized and scared to speak out that she left out some relevant informations that could help Vina and Eki get their justice. Smh. Still, I hope the real criminals will be caught soon. It must've been terribly painful for the victims and victim's parent knowing the culprits are still out there.

  May the two poor souls gets their justice and finally rest in peace. 🙏🕊️

  When i saw the movie, man i couldn't even held my tears back. I bawled my eyes out.
  They even added the real sound of her recording at the end, and the crazy thing is, they made it really similar to the real one. The actress who played Vina has a very similar voice with the one in the recording, even the intonation, the accent, they chose the same words and everything.

  Tbh i didn't even realize that it was the same case with what i've heard from a few years ago. I just went to the movie and always choose the horror ones to see.
  Just right when the movie ended and the real recording shown, i suddenly realized that it was that and i realized how similar they have made it.

  And i gotta admit, motorbike gangs here have gone way bigger and more dangerous, with new gangs created and even with very young members including ages from like 13 or evenn younger. We call the BEGAL here, the criminal motor gangs (begal means robber but with phisical attack action).
  Even just at where i live right now, there was never a dangerous and scary feeling for ppl to go out at night. Bcs it's campusses are, there are a lot of schools/campusses around so it's a pretty nice area.
  But just a few weeks ago, someone that i actually know got robbed, motorbike was stolen and i actually saw a video of him just when he got attacked. His left hand was cutted and with just a little bit of his skin left of, so his hand was hanging in the video. It actually traumatized me after i saw that video.
  Now i can't even feel that save here anymore, and i've been living here since 2016 and tbh for me this is the safest area in the town, that's why i chose to stay here even after finished my college.
  There are countless begal cases even in my town alone, not even included the whole Indonesia. I personally have seen a lot of fictim photos/videos, some even ended with deaths, and one of the example was a senior/junior high school student.
  It just so frustating that sometimes our government keep focusing to work on something else that are less important than this.

  This case is still on going since had been slept for 8 years. Many speculations appear, including the main suspect who had caught was believed not the main culprit of the case. So Indonesia citizen have been divided into two sides. It's quite complicated case since it was believed that the culprit has powerful background

  It's really heartbreaking what two 16 year olds went through that night. And it has been 8 years since but justice is still not given.

  I'm no expert in forensic investigations but I think the police should've done autopsies from the beginning and started from there. It's just sad how this case ended up like this.

  i had this discussion with my friend who dont believe ghost at all. He said that the possesed girl is 100% related to the crime and is likely to be there witnessing all of it. Which is pretty interesting because the possesed girl also went away not long after the crime

  I've read theory saying that Linda might have faked being possessed, she might not be at the crime scene but she know what was about to go down. I do believe in ghosts, but getting possessed once and done? come on. Sad, police here are a combination of lazy, stupid and corrupt. i don't have high hopes on the real perpetrator getting caught 🙁

  The alleged culprits were clearly tortured. That should never be condoned. Two people losing their lives also isn't reason to ruin the lives of more people with confessions under duress.

  As for the ghost of the deceased girl. In Islamic belief, there's no such thing as ghosts. But there are Jinn who are supernatural beings that have sentience and intelligence just like humans do and can choose to be good or bad and can be Muslim or non-Muslim. They can interact with humans and some can potentially even possess humans.

  I think Linda was there and witness the brutal murder of the two, and she couldn't move forward because her conscience killing her. And might this another witness is involved too, maybe!!! But because of the Police negligence it's difficult now too tell who really is the mastermind.

  I doubt it was the spirit talking. It was likely that Melmel and Linda did see what had happened, but Linda didn't know what to do with that information and so had a "possession" episode, if she didn't plan to do this, she could've had a mental breakdown or something thinking she was being possessed.

  I still can't believe how on earth the victim's family agree to make their ongoing case daughter into a cheap horror movie. Maybe to make it viral so the police will be more under pressure to do their job (the irony tho), but still to see their murdered daughter to be pictured as monstrous ghost in a movie is not bothered them enough?
