  I used to live in a major metropolis won't name the city but saw something that sparked my curiosity more than anything. Across the street where I used to work was a small convenience store. I knew the clerk and I knew he kept all kinds of porn movies in his safe. One day, as I was leaving work around 6 p.m. I saw a city police officer lieutenant entering the store with a few porn movies and then leaving the store with different ones. He was in full uniform in a marked car but it was already dark so I don't think he cared one way or another. I knew that in that city there were many officers who would take advantage of their positions and either blackmail outright or proposition women. Scumbags all of them.

  The Qualification process has been so watered down To make sure you have the right amount of diversity and now with the large amount of good officers quitting the department , Serious things are overlooked and its getting worse, This is what comes from that, Your giving criminals a Badge and a gun.

  It is obvious you can not leave Police officers in a position of power for a length of time without a yearly independent psychological evaluation, also rotation from department to department that will minimize tendency of becoming sociopath or antisocial.. It is inevitable when you cure people the position of power and it is not checked or monitored at some point, it will be abused.
