The term ‘casting couch’ is often associated with words like compromise, harassment, physical force, molestation, etc. While the ‘glamour’ world projects itself to be jazzy, the spine-chilling stories indicate otherwise. It is merely superficial and a sheer facade. With feminism and women empowerment taking over, the actresses do not succumb to such ill-happenings anymore.     I went to Bangalore for job search in 2018 when I was a fresher. I remember i went to one organisation for interview which was for technical support. The interviewer from the start of the interview which was group discussion was acting weirdly he was only supporting women to talk. I cleared first round and later during third round it was one to one where he gave me his number and said i will message you questions which clients are gonna ask in last round and that they shared it with everyone . So i naively messaged him Hi . He asked me whether I would go on a trip with him alone and i said yeah we all team members can go and then he said no not team members only you and me ,i thought he was testing my confidence so I didn't say anything but after sometime he said i will give you promotion and all . Even then I didnt realise what he was trying to say as i was too naive at that time. After leaving from cabin i got to know he didn't take number from anyone it was just me that's when i realised he was an opportunist and tharki . Me and my friend left from there and at night he continuosly started sending me messages on what's and calls . I blocked him on WhatsApp then he started sending me sms. And he was like don't you want to know results of interview? He must have thought I'm job keliye bhooka and ill do anything for this job . I blocked him everywhere and never responded back . They intentionally target frshers and new comers as they know they are naive and sometimes in need.

    All these actresses here are naming and shaming the bad guys of the industry but then they have no qualms to wear skimpy western outfits or to do bold scenes .that means if I am getting money I won't mind titillating people's basic insticts..hypocrisy

    Its not like he is blackmailing or raping her.. He is a producer spending crores of rupees on a heroine with no guarantee on return of investment.. Why would anyone do it with out something in return? If you are not ok, just don't do it..

    There was this young actress in the 1980s, Neeta Puri, from NJ, a Miss India-America, who was trying to enter Bollywood. A famous director, I forget his name, but he has made some big hits with Rajesh Khanna, who promised her a lead role if she slept with him. She refused and he threatened to blacklist her in Bollywood and if she made it in spite of it, to spit on his face.
    She did become successful, and gave an interview asking whether she could now spit on his face!
    Rajesh Khanna was another such opportunistic pervert who tortured a 14-year old girl, daughter of not so famous actress, into sleeping with him. His cohort in crime was a cheesy Malayalam director, husband of actress Seema. The way they pressurized her in sex scenes were unbelievable. But she did not yield and got out of Bollywood. On top of all this, Rajesh Khanna had the support of the famous film gossip columnist, “Frankly Speaking Devi”. Tina Munium (now Ambani), then living in with Rajesh Khanna, supported him, asking why would he need to sleep with anyone else.
    Bollywood must be a scary place for young aspiring women in the 1980s. Maybe Tollywood, Mollywood, and Kollywood also. No accountability.

    My friend wants to be an actress. She spoken with various person but one person talked for 1 hr 30 min on call. And constantly was saying that in this area there is no chance without compromise. And yes he said that he has big connection and so he wants to make aware.
    (My friends was like – Are bhai agr big connection hai to help krna…. Compromise k liye convence krwana hi q????)
    He said that he is not like this but she will definitely get such people in near future……. Then you will understand that "I was right……"
    He knows Alia Bhatt and says sister bla bla bla….
    But my friend thinking is like Achhe log bhi milege… Patience rakho. Apne izzat ko priority doge to ek din aage jrur bhadoge….
    And yes he said her that why your Mom-Dad marry????? Means he was having no difference between marry and force.
