  I came home to EVICTION notice on my home. We found out that fraudulent documents were submitted and approved by the county months earlier without our knowledge. Filed police report TWICE but they closed it as information only without contacting us to investigate the info we obtained on the suspect..
  The suspect swore an oath that our home was rented to a company that was $12k behind in rent and was granted the ok to evict unknowing to us. We have a lawyer and proof of title, however the potential thief goes unpunished for swearing under oath that he owns our property, falsely claiming that he was renting out our home to a company. We have his info and want to prosecute if ANY law enforcement agency in Georgia will investigate or forward to GBI. It appears that Georgia is well aware of these crimes but seems to have no intention of protecting lawful homeowners and making it easy for criminals. So there are 2 victims here…..the home owners and the State of Georgia.
