    Noted. Don’t bank at Chase.

  • @ironmage6105 June 27, 2024

    Here's a TIP……don't bank with Chase obviously!

  • @frankmoore7292 June 27, 2024

Why didn't this talking head follow up and find out if Chase actually tried to contact her? Banks don't do enough to prevent fraud.

Something is amiss here. Why would the texts with the codes from the bank not contain any detail about what it concerned? How hard would that be? If it said it was pertaining to a wire transfer she would have known. I would have smelled a rat when the same person kept calling. You would have expected it to be different employees.

Also with my bank you would need the card or to log on with a passcode. How did they have either of those things? Maybe they impersonated her and requested a new card and it was delivered to her old address, which they had access to. Could it have been the person who bought her old house?

If you get a text or a call, don’t answer and call the bank if they texted or call you. That simple

  • @balancedscales3420 June 27, 2024

    Chase wrong den a mfer

  • @majorlagg9321 June 27, 2024

Doesn't the confirmation text have a message saying it's a confirmation of a wire transfer? Did she read the text?

  • @RosieRoserules June 27, 2024

These types of frauds make no sense because you know the account that it's going to. You know the bank it went to that should be able to be taken care of in just a few minutes.

  • @lemonhead162 June 27, 2024

I never have enough money in the bank for scammers to even steal.

  • @shanaeverowe9626 June 27, 2024

California based wire transfer fraud….. Where is Ohtani's interpreter

  • @notrealatall196 June 27, 2024

Moss isnt intelligent though. This was a classical fraud. I think this should be taught in school to not answer to these fraud calls and share otp number etc. Should also be taught when someone takes a new bank account.

As for the bank.. they should have reported it to the police and started investigation

  • @user-sq2ns6wo2f June 27, 2024

Sounds like she has never replaced a card before. You can do it on the app.

  • @outwestexplorer1966 June 27, 2024

She should sue the bank. I thiught accounts were FDIC insured up to $250,000.

  • @goldengirls0125 June 27, 2024

This is something the FBI should be used for.

  • @WyattsVlog June 27, 2024

Companies pollute and it effects citizens, we're told, suck it up. No accountability

  • @Tpavra June 27, 2024

Why should the bank keep refunding these people? Its not small amounts, but why should it be the banks left footing the bill for these incompitent people making stupid decisions?

  • I've learned over the years to never keep more than $100k in a single bank and to not rely on Chase to keep me or anyone else's money safe.

  • @justincase676 June 27, 2024

This can be fixed so easily. Anything over a certain amount should have a 3 day hold and have you log into your account and approve or deny the wire.

  • @Gamelover22478 June 27, 2024

I get a notification through the bank app not a text. Sorry but that’s her fault for not thinking and responding to a text message. This type of phishing has been going on forever. People just need to educated themselves more

Lesson: please call your bank should you get a similar text message

  • @margiediaz6897 June 27, 2024

I get text from what appears to be Chase every now and then, but I don’t have chase account.

  • @josephstuhr6608 June 27, 2024

Fani Willis would never fall for that

  • @jenniferhejhal4101 June 27, 2024

OH MAN ! NEVER DO ANYTHING OVER THE PHONE !!
YOU GO INTO THE BANK !!!

  • @AutumnLuvsJesus June 27, 2024

Elderly people are absolutely not going to know what a suspicious link is, these banks are complete failures.

  • @signupstuff June 27, 2024

This process seems inconsistent. A few years ago I tried wiring a family member $3k that never went through. I had to call Chase and the person said it was flagged for additional scrutiny and I had to provide all sorts of information in order to allow it proceed. And then the family member's bank also asked for my credentials in order to release the money. It was such a hassle that I reverted back to sending a physical checks since then. How did Chase allow this much money to get wired when I had to jump through so many hoops?

  • @OlivierSriprasert June 27, 2024

How does one with that much money not check frequently that it’s still there? lol I feel like I balance my books weekly to ensure my spending makes sense so everything checks out.

  • @jamesnicholas9215 June 27, 2024

chase bank is a joke stop going there they a fraud bank

  • @kc4091 June 27, 2024

Ya sending wire transfers should take a lot more to do especially large amounts. Seema like chase should given her an actual call and those transfers should have triggered legit confirmation from her.

  • @thehandyman2296 June 27, 2024

This transaction was between that person and the Scammers !! I received many messages from the IRS saying that I owe them money. I won’t pay taxes anymore because the IRS can not protect me ?????!!!!!!!
