GP is flat out lying about his initial stance on TSJ being allowed to play. I’m not surprised, but quite disappointed.

  • @josepedroza3400 June 20, 2024

His take was very unfavorable towards TSJ and fanned the flames for people to pile on. Charges were always shaky, TSJ should never have been treated so bad without being proven guilty.

  • @mcdchi9226 June 20, 2024

Eat crow. Apologize. You never took the time to look at the facts of this case. And don’t try to change the story now

Last time I will ever watch you and your colleague. Despicable reporting.

@wwholmes…- KSU Alum – That is one of the dumbest, most ignorant, statements I have ever read. You have no clue.

  • @bfwholesale June 20, 2024

    Stop smelling your finger.

Parrish: I never offered a thought of guilt or innocence

Parrish in January: It's TSJ fault for getting charged and he should never see the court again at Illinois

This guy insinuated that TSJ was in fact guilty and didnt want him to be perceived as innocent until proven guilty, but hey he feels as though he shouldnt have to apologize. What a coʻward😅

  • @PatchesOhoulihan159 June 20, 2024

What a loser Gary Parrish is

  • @wwholmes97 June 20, 2024

KSU has never been big in their history

    Ugonna Onyenso my dude.

Parrish should have apologized to both Illinois and Shannon. His take on this whole affair was dead wrong. I am not impressed by this show and hope CBS looks at these comments. In my opinion, that is just BAD journalism.

While I don't disagree that the policy is bad based off what happened to Terrence in this case, Parrish is dead wrong on so many levels. Definite lack of accountability on his part to not own up to what he said and admit he was incorrect. He did insinuate that Terrence was guilty and that Illinois was wrong for propping him up when they had the chance. You can't just not play him after the TRO without major ramifications. What a job of backpedaling the past few days.

  • @gagebyers1057 June 20, 2024

There is no chance in hell this roster isn’t at least top 20…

  • @mitchbrewer2411 June 20, 2024

"Illinois trotted a guy out charged with rape…. Kansas kicked Arterio Morris off the team completely". Had the chance to apologize to TSJ, Underwood and Illinois but you danced around it.

  • @landonmag June 20, 2024

As an Illinois fan, I believed that GP was getting more hate than he deserved after the ‘not guilty’ verdict. After watching this though, I’m sincerely disappointed in GP’s complete lack of accountability.

Anyone saying GP called TSJ a rapist is wrong, but GP did insinuate that it was TSJ’s fault for getting charged in the first place. GP also claimed to have read everything there was on the case, and yet still claimed that anyone who thought he was clearly innocent was full of sh*t.
Fast forward to the trial, and it was clear that this had been a sham the whole time.

I don’t think Illinois fans, or anyone else should be coming for GP’s head for all of this. TSJ wouldn’t want this, and it’s not a good look for the fanbase.

I will say though that I’m disappointed in GP for taking the “I never did anything wrong, this is just another crazy fanbase in my twitter mentions” stance after everything

  • @apollobarkley June 20, 2024

The last time I’ll watch anything GP does. And I’ve never followed him on X so he can’t block me.

1:08:01 The Ballpark in Arlington is now Choctaw Stadium and serves as the home venue for the UFL's Arlington Renegades.

  • @PeeedaPan June 20, 2024

Parrish is such a coward. Shame on him. Notice how he brings up his voting record as some kind of defense for his horrible take on TSJ's case. He's trying to virtue signal that he's a liberal. Typical white liberal savior complex to try and make himself look good. Instead he looks like a clown

  • @Plunkman40 June 20, 2024

If you had it your way TSJ would’ve missed the rest of his final college season, not had one of the most impressive BTT/NCAA runs we’ve seen from a collegiate ball player, likely been bumped down to the late 2nd round, if drafted at all, and yet you said the suspension wasn’t causing “irreparable harm” to his career. I’m glad that you finally at least talked about it, but the words you are looking for are, “I was wrong.”

  • @sawyerhinck2471 June 20, 2024

This is good pickup by the wildcats

  • @j66gv June 20, 2024

Parrish is tying himself in knots to avoid saying he's wrong.

That initial athletic department policy is also not in place at Illinois anymore because the judge tore it to shreds! Your argument is that Illinois should have continued to try to appeal to keep the policy in place?
