    Conspiracy theory: Russia banned Rammstein because the band is pro LGBTQ+ rights.

    I've only found your channel recently so apologizes for the lateness on this.

    In the case of Rammstein, as you said, I feel they get a bad rap for being German more than anything else(as well as being a heavy metal/industrial band). This is silly especially considering there are bands around the world actually giving out a hateful message.
    I find it ironic they would get so much flack when like a good portion of the people on this list did worse. Hate Crime's director says he's Jewish himself but I don't feel it should be a pass on the gross nature of the film(I mean it's literally a torture film than anything). The Human Centipede series(especially the last one) are so much more vile, even more so than what you said and that director sees all of this as fine.

    As a fan of the band for a very long time, they clearly don't like the fans that take extremes or view them in a darker light if you know what I mean. As for the military stuff, I feel part of it comes from something I remember hearing from my German teacher. According to him(granted this was over ten years ago), he mentioned that when you graduate high school, unless you have a school ready to go to, you'll have to go into the army or face prison time. I could have this whole part wrong and this may or may not be a thing anymore, but I think that could be a reason why military is a common especially in the song Links 2 3 4.

    I should also point out in their recent song Deutschland, it talks about how they personally feel about the country( the song going "want to love you, want to damn you" and "your love is a curse and a blessing" ). The music video shows alot more, showing Germany's bloody, dark history. This sparked alot of ire from folks, saying they shouldn't have shown stuff from the 1940s, but I feel if they hadn't, they would have gotten just as much ire from people over it, in other words, a no win situation. This also brings up some question as to whether or not Germany might not want to even acknowledge the events that transpired decades ago, as they, native German speakers, seem to miss the whole point the song/video. This is honestly a scary/disturbing thought honestly.

    Sorry for the very very long comment. I felt like adding my thoughts to this. I also wanna thank you for not labeling them in a bad light like some others would because they didn't actually research stuff.

    However… I would‘ve LOVED to see Salo (120 Days of Sodom) and the notorious A Serbian Film in this video. They would‘ve fit perfectly.

    On a side note… THC2 is available in color since 2016. it‘s rare but it IS out there. I even have it here.

    If Rammstein is racist then I'm a koosalagoopagoop. I have most of their albums and allthough militaristic is definately their style, I have never heard them utter one racist word. The lead singer is right. Their music is a great way to release agression. I think a lot of this was just people who still had too much WWII on their minds. (Oooo! Germans! Eeeee! Soldier music!)

    It's hard to be controversial post-two girls, one cup. These days, a Christian group taking umbrage with child pornography is as controversial as you can get. Life-long atheist here, but we're living in bizarro world.
