“Cruel and Insane”: Republicans Condemn Kristi Noem's Dog Killing Disclosure

After the vice presidential candidate and South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem revealed that she had killed her own dog in an advance chapter of her upcoming book, many across the aisle have protested the act.

“I'm a dog lover, and I'm frankly horrified by the Kristi Noem extract,” former Trump White House Director of Strategic Communications and co-host of “The View,” Alyssa Farah Griffin, said on Twitter. “I wish I hadn't even read it.” A 14-month-old dog is still a puppy and can be trained.”

Meghan McCain, daughter of the late Senator John McCain, criticized the text on Twitter, writing that Noem “can handle a lot of things in politics.” . . but not by killing a dog.”

“The only thing I will clearly think about Kristi Noem right now is that she killed a puppy that was 'acting out,' which is obviously cruel and insane,” McCain added.

Lincoln Project founder Rick Wilson kept it simple, tweeting “Good morning to everyone who didn't shoot your puppy in the face.

Even top Trump ally Laura Loomer was disgusted by the brutality, tweeting: “She can't be VP right now.

Noem, who seemed unable to read the room, doubled down on building his animal-killing image.

“Difficult decisions like this always happen on a farm. Unfortunately we just had to put down 3 horses a few weeks ago that had been in our family for 25 years,” Noem wrote on Twitter before linking the pre-order page for the book.

But not all right-wingers were critical. “The Daily Wire” commentator Michael Knowles took to Twitter to share his unpopular opinion.

“This story makes me love her and respect her more,” said the CPAC speaker. Donald Trump also wrote a glowing review for the book on Amazon.

The Biden campaign seems to be overshadowing Noem, to insert a picture of the President and Commander Biden, along with a photo of Vice President Kamala Harris and her nurse Newton.
