So small aside too the books…..which are different so I don't think I'm spoiling anything. Before the first book Bourne does have a family. They're killed prior to his memory loss however

  • @johnbowersox738 June 17, 2024

Each of these films brings something new to the table and introduces a new aspect of Bourne. This is one of those that for me, the first was good, the second better, and the third great. I can't wait for you to watch the next one!

  • @artboymoy June 17, 2024

Sad to see Marie firdged in this movie but it is a great movie. The whole trilogy is great. I love the stalker stuff Jason does with Landy and always the Moby "Extreme Measures" end song tag. Bourne telling the Neski daughter was sad. Poor Danny, trusting the wrong people. Bourne Ultimatium coming up! The Bourne Identity actually got me to like Matt Damon at the time.

  • @OneThousandHomoDJs June 17, 2024

Joan Allen as Landy was one of the best woman "opponents" I can remember seeing in any kind of a spy/espionage movie like this series was. She really helped to elevate this above the standard spy thriller fare, along with the character of Bourne, of course.

  • @demonbuddy1 June 17, 2024

Franka Potente (Marie) starred in amazing movie called "Run, Lola, Run" prior to the Bourne movies. It's a hectic action movie that has a huge fan base. It is in German, but it is well translated in the captions. You should react to it!

  • @LuminairPrime June 17, 2024

Take solace: Jason and Marie have a long love story in the books! I assume the movie makers totally changed the story because they wanted nothing but action. I was shocked when I saw this too, because Marie was a main character in the books. I have to take the movies as their own thing.

Another thing your instincts are right about is the crazy camera shaking. When this movie came out, people noted that the camera movement was dialed up too much.

    Keep up the great work!!!

  • @Kardashev1 June 17, 2024

Great reaction Addie! Definite case of the sequel being even better, although it's better just to look at the whole first trilogy of Identity, Supremacy, & Ultimatum as being a great trilogy. I liked the stand-alone Legacy with Jeremy Renner also, & the last Jason Bourne with Matt Damon as well. Happy watching!

  • @fakecubed June 17, 2024

This one is my favorite of the main trilogy, also. The spycraft he uses is top notch and he spends the whole movie just dominating the entire CIA. That's not to say the third movie isn't great also.

  • @QazwerDave June 17, 2024

    The 3rd one !!

  • @jopetsumcad June 17, 2024

Here's a tip, when the movie does not say how much time has passed, take note of how long a woman's hair has grown. It's about half an inch a month, six inches in one year.

  • @donovanlindaman421 June 17, 2024

I can’t remember if I commented on your Bourne Identity video.. but The Bourne Legacy with Jeremy Renner is worth a watch. It can after the third Bourne film with Matt Damon. And don’t forget Jason Bourne which is the 5th and final film that also stars Matt Damon😊

  • @BBFilms88 June 17, 2024

You’re gonna LOVE Ultimatum. It’s truly a masterclass

  • @BigMikeKOE June 17, 2024

    Wait, wait, wait.
You started the video and DIDN'T say, "Hey, it's Addie"?
Who are you? Are you cloned? Blink twice if you're okay? Am I in an alternate timeline?

  • @Arksimon2k June 17, 2024

3rd one is my favourite, but this is a good one. Gets qyite a lot of hate for the shaky cam, which is pretty bad. But story and action-wise I think it's great.

  • @YuNgHaSaN June 17, 2024

Oh boy how much I waited for this

  • This movie should have been called 'Ikea catalogue: The final weapon'

  • @floorticket June 17, 2024

"The Falcon and the Snowman" (1985), is a spy flick starring Timothy Hutton and Sean Penn that I think you'd like. Someone needs to react to it.

  • @tommythompson9565 June 17, 2024

Only 30 minutes of the movie ? Why?
Other reactors don't do this, for the most part.
I enjoy your reactions, but it does detract from the pleasure of the experience when so much of the movie is cut out .

  • @PsychoMuffinSDM June 17, 2024

Addie, I know you tend to react to more movies than shows, but after the next Bourne movie… I REALLY REALLY hope you consider watching the The Expanse series, for… reasons… Not just in addition to it be the best damn sci fi, I dare say ever written for TV.

  • @ultimaofelsewhere June 17, 2024

A good thriller action I think the trilogy gets better with each one. Have you seen the Final Destination movies?

  • @PsychoMuffinSDM June 17, 2024

    "I emptied it"
    "it felt a little light"
-sounds like Liam Neeson took notes!

  • @bohem5568 June 17, 2024

Another good movie with the same type of guy on the run plot is, "The Fugitive" with Harrison Ford. The best movie adapted from a TV show.

  • @keokiw2353 June 17, 2024

I wish I could watch this movie again. The constant movement of the camera gives me a headache lol

  • @jeffdetmer4681 June 17, 2024

This trilogy (much like the John Wick movies) are cool in that you keep expecting the sequels to disappoint, but they just don't. I also just recently watched the (I believe) 4th movie titled only Jason Bourne, and that was worth a watch as well.

  • @bruinbro23 June 17, 2024

Like I told ya, each 3 are better than before, after 3rd, will really like watching the 3. And the 2 female friends of his, are back in 3rd, so since his 2 bosses are dead now and younger guy stabbed by boss, there are new bosses, and like one killed himself, they want Bourne dead to keep their secrets not known. So both females help him again, you'll like that.More famous actors as bosses of her, get to know how he started, which is what Bourne wanted when letting girlfriend go away, said would end it. Will try, if not killed, great end!
    Looking as beautiful as ever😍

  • @3monthbender June 17, 2024

"You are 36 hours behind the hardest target you have ever tracked."

  • @leftcoaster67 June 17, 2024

You feel the pain when he says. "I WAS 4000 MILES AWAY!!!!"

  • @JohnSmith-qn3ob June 17, 2024

So when are you going to watch A Nightmare on Elm Street?

  • You're going to love the third one. Joan Allen (Pam) was also in a movie called Death Race with Jason Statham. (not to be confused with Death Race 2,000). Anyway, she plays a very different role in that one. She's very cruel and mean. Which just shows what a great actress she is. I don't think you'd like Death Race but feel free to watch it, however it has some gore to it so, fair warning.

  • @ThistleAndSea June 17, 2024

Good one, Addie! This was a fun one to rewatch with you. Thanks! 🙂

  • @Bikebrh June 17, 2024

Just in case you don't know, the third film is essentially part two of this film, so you might want to watch it while this one is fresh in your mind.

  • @Bikebrh June 17, 2024

Julia Stiles is amazing at playing "Pants-pissingly terrified". She does it in season 5 of Dexter also.

  • @STOCKHOLM07 June 17, 2024

Yeah the shaky cam towards the end almost made me throw up in the theater. Much less painful on a small screen.

  • @Bikebrh June 17, 2024

Imagine the surprise for us that read the books when Marie died…She didn't die in the books!

  • @jerrykessler2478 June 17, 2024

The fifth Bourne movie, Jason Bourne, gives us the story of how he became Jason Bourne.

  • “That’s a handy little gadget.” Addie, Addie… it’s a key-fob, sweetheart. He took the agent’s keys and used it to find his car. You probably have a handy little gadget just like it. 🤣🤣❤️

  • @troy34bronze June 17, 2024

This movie is heavy on ghe shakey cam and received a lot of criticism. They let up in the third.

  • @duanelavely5481 June 17, 2024

I really like the 4th Bourne movie starring Jeremy Renner & Rachel Weisz in "The Bourne Legacy".
