According to the Scotland Act no Scottish government can pass a law that breaches various clearly defined human rights one of which is the right to freedom of expression. These clowns get away with breaches because people are not aware of their rights or they just simply can't be bothered doing anything about it. In other words we get what we deserve and it is left for individuals to raise the issue of legality if they are prosecuted.

If you broaden the spectrum and definitions of existing crimes, of course there will be a rise because things that didn't meet the criteria previously now do. If you make everything a crime, you'll have more crime…..ludicrous.

Scotch Whisky Auctions in Glasgow, Scotland, fires staff on grounds of "racial abuse"- without due process – for quoting jokes from the popular American TV Sitcom, "The Big Bang Theory”. They have also – through ignorance and inaction – promoted bullying, up to and including threats of physical assault. It is an absolute disgrace for a company to virtue signal and persecute, whilst shamelessly disregarding Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights.

This is what happens in Scotland prior to such a bill. Just where do you think such a bill will lead lead us, if not to all new levels of tyranny dressed up as justice.
Make no mistake, that is all such a bill will achieve.

The irony. Hate crime legislation brought in by Britains most bigoted party.

At 2:58 – what about all the non Muslims who are intimidated and sometimes forced to hide in fear of their lives because they may have done something like …. oh, I don’t know …. show a cartoon of the prophet in a religious education class to discuss blasphemy?

Are THEY going to be protected under this law? Are masses of very intimidating men protesting outside a school making demands going to be arrested and imprisoned for inciting hate and promoting intimidation?

  • Wow Arabic blasphemous law from Hamza via back door to the people of Scotland. Didn't know Scotland was a Islamic state and what does Scots think of this bill.

ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING. LOSS OF FREE SPEECH……….PLUS BLASPHEMY BILL. THIS IS SCOTLAND….FREE SPEECH IS EVERYTHING. MULTICULTURISM DOES NOT WORK. SCOTLAND IS NOT A MUSLIM COUNTRY. MSP's voting for this bill are traitors to Scotland and should be ashamed of themselves. 🤔

“The disposition of mankind, whether as rulers or as fellow-citizens, to impose their own opinions and inclinations as a rule of conduct on others, is so energetically supported by some of the best and by some of the worst feelings incident to human nature, that it is hardly ever kept under restraint by anything but want of power; and as the power is not declining, but growing, unless a strong barrier of moral conviction can be raised against the mischief, we must expect, in the present circumstances of the world, to see it increase..” John Stuart Mill 1869 On Liberty.
