'News dump from hell': Supreme Court appears eager to hide controversy in flood of major rulings

Conservatives on the Supreme Court have wasted no time using their majority power to advance their political and cultural goals, at least in terms of the cases they’ve agreed to hear. Now it appears that they’ve saved a significant number of rulings on major cases to all be released at the same time, likely with the hope that some of the controversy they generate will be lost in the rush of news. Mark Joseph Stern, senior writer for Slate Magazine, talks with Alex Wagner about what could be a “news dump from hell.”

    The US Supreme Court should stand for “Nation Above Party” But it Doesn’t!!!! The US Supreme Court needs “Term Limits” and “Oversight!!!! No one should have a job for life No Matter What!!!! Only America has the foxes watching the hen house and they wonder why the World is laughing at us!!!!!!

    What they are doing is adding distraction so nothing gets settled before the election. It is a maneuver to throw sand into the election! What difference does it make because it appears that these criminals are running our government ( if there is one)! They are watching to see what "we will do besides
    complain!

    I think the Democrats and whatever Republicans can jump on board that would swing should go all out to condemn this action and try to get this man to recuse himself from some of these critical decisions like Immunity. He does not deserve to be on the Supreme Court if he does not support our democracy. DJ T. clearly did not and does not support our democracy as it stands today, he simply wants to be a dictator.

    I always thought the Supreme Court was "Supreme" and that their rulings were just and sensible. Now I''m not so sure. I think they are funded so they judge the way the contributors want them to. How can they be so corrupt? I hope at least two Justices are impeached. They should be.

    Has every one forgotten what happened back in 2000, I'm referring to Gore v. Bush. The Supreme Court decided that one. I'm still angered by it! and I'mold enough to have voted the first time for The HONORABLE JIMMY CARTER, in 1976! So I have seen alot!

    Alito isn’t conflicted. He’s openly showing support for Trump by stalling out the obvious decision that no president should be immune from prosecution for any crimes admitted.

    He’s trying to hold this back until after the election, where he waits to see who wins.
