  Rule 2 is stupid, "regularly check your MONTHLY bill"..buddy, they can rack up thousands of fraudulent charges within DAYS! Go your bank or credit unions website, register, go to your account and request email alerts for every transaction over $1.00. A buddy just told me they also have a widget you can download to your phone which I presume is even more effective at monitoring your account, I think you can keep your card blocked while not in use. I just had fraud on a Visa issued Debt card, I did NOT do those two simple things and right now my card has been canceled by security and can not get another debt card issued on the weekend, meanwhile I can not put out a credit freeze with the 3 credit bureaus until I get my new card.(I may be wrong about that). The person(s) committing fraud could be applying for new credit cards right now using the data they have stolen. The website of your bank or credit union may also have other security measures you can take such as daily limits, if you do not frequently spend more than $250 that would be a good limit, if you purchase something more than that, you can run it as credit. If you take nothing from my statement, take these that are unanamous, don't use gas station pump credit/debt card devices and if you do notice fraud, always presume the worse, and that is they have your identity and will try to commit all the fraud they can do with it, it's not like getting a new card is going to fix it, that I can guarantee is NOT going to make your fraud problem go away!

  Why in Europe everything is guaranteed by your autograph signature and photos, with ID, and with the watermarks of the ID? How can someone steal your info just based on the social security number, but not by providing a proper signature and ID?

  For anyone going through identity theft, I recommend the book ‘Overcoming Identity Theft: For the Rookies’ by Nadia Kors on Amazon. It helped me get past it without an attorney or anything in literally one month. Go read it..

  * What If Every Business, Agency, Sellers STOP Requesting, Demanding People Send Every Single Solitary Thing They Know About Themselves and Others and That Way People Won't Be Losing Their Private Information Held By Private Companies? If There's No Information To Get Then There's No Need To Hack.
