Hello Pattu sir I have decided to sell my Active mutual funds and buy an Index fund of N50. But before that I just wanted to know why you have kept the Parag Parikh flexi cap fund for this long. You would have sold it and invested in N50 Index
Wise to Exit the fund, if nothing bad happens still good, you pay the tax but if it’s gets worse you may get all your money but will be delayed. Axis funds have been underperforming ever since the case.Remember the earlier you exit the chances of getting money are better. Quant may be completely innocent but you can’t play roulette with your money.
Hi Sir, I'm a new subscriber and have just started watching your videos. I'm looking for some advice on where to begin and how to navigate through your channel. Could you guide me on this? Thanks a lot.!
Sir I have looked into all your videos. Great content sir!! One question – When calculating for retirement, we typically withdraw a fixed amount annually after retiring at 55. But in the case of a black swan event causing a substantial decline in our portfolio’s value, what strategy should be adopted? Is it advisable to persist in withdrawing funds from our equity portfolio during such times?
Quant are cunts. They are not investors, they are traders. look at the turnover ratio? all above 70%. but same category SBI/Axis or Aditya Birla have below 50% turnover. it is really sucks when company doesn't have ethos.
I just started following you and your gyan is an eye opener for all level of people in the investing world. Thanks for the great job and please continue it for people awareness.
I have a request to you, could you create a SIP calendar view to understand wholestic view of weekly, monthly and yearly cash requirement and important dates to keep the cash ready. This would help people who dies lots of SIPs on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
SEBI doesn't do thing any blaming without proof. See its past record. There is something really fishy else why would Sebi trouble them? I have bad experience of insider trading with Franklin Templeton AMC which was considered very safe and ethical AMC. Anyone who doesnt take out ALL his money from Quant AMC is a fool. There are so many other AMCs.
This has happened with HDFC and Axis as well and Axis has still not recovered. So this erodes the confidence in the market as a whole. His is this managed in other markets. I ask since if action taken earlier by SEBI has not dissuaded such happenings ( assuming it has happened in this case which is still being investigated) but there is an impact since many a investor will panic and that is the issue.
Hi pattu sir i have a doubt, there is called elss nifty 50 index fund by navi. Is it best option for both tax saving and passive investment ? This is for retirement plan.
Lets say a perticular mutual fund is having 50 stocks in it's portfolio. It generally don't change these 50 stocks every month right. And these 50 stocks information is already public.
Now, with above information, I can buy every month before fund actually buys the stocks. It's also front running?
Looks like it will only applicable for exiting a stocks.
Going by the similar instances in Axis MF in the past , investors lost substantial amounts by way reduced NAV subsequently.I hv suffered as i did not redeem as soon as the news of front running came to the public knowledge.
If the index fund has to buy or sell according to index, then before the fund buys or sells, why can't people who are privy to the index fund buy and sell date / time do such transactions. Probably it will just get accumulated in "tracking error".
Can you pl. clarify what's happening in GROWW? There is a serious allegation about changing the portfolio no.etc. Looks very alarming. Is this a indication of a scam?
Hey, I have been following your videos for quite sometime, and I really love the content and it resonates with my thoughts as well. However, I see you are using a gaming chair [assuming it is your daily driver], I would advice against it. Rather, I would suggest invest in a ergonomic chair from Featherlite, Steelcase, or Herman Miller. These gaming chairs are not good for the back at all.
Sir, please take my question. Should an investor hold cash at any given time, if yes then where should I keep that cash in India and how much percentage of cash an investor should keep at all times? I am asking because warren buffett parks cash in U.S. Treasury bonds all most all the time.
