Study About Trump Rallies & Hate Crimes Questioned

A much-reported study from March 2019 that claimed a large increase in hate crimes in areas that held Trump rallies has been challenged by a new piece from two Harvard Ph.D. students, spurring larger questions about how journalists should accurately report on studies.

The piece was featured in ‘Reason’; the authors of the original study stand by their findings.

In this week’s episode of Beat The Press, Emily Rooney was joined by former CNN White House correspondent Dan Lothian; Jon Keller of WBZ News; Dan Kennedy of Northeastern University; and Callie Crossley of WGBH News.

The extremely lazy and biased WGBH is skeptical about studies of "confirmation bias" when they fail to confirm their own bias.

Did that story come from the National Review? If it did it is not a left leaning publication that went with this. That is a conservative publication so don't blame the liberal media.
