  • @user-kl1vd4cj6j June 21, 2024

Fred Durst should have been charged for inciting that shit what a asshole

  • @ashman0071 June 21, 2024

You all realize ML is wearing a wig – right ?

  • @F3INFIND3R June 21, 2024

Woodstock and Astroworld are so similar to each other it’s scary

  • @robertsmith-zz7ot June 21, 2024

They hand out candles for a vigil not approved by the fire marshal. Then promoters want to blame the fire dept. for not wanting to go into that crowd to put the fires out.
Michael Lang & John Scher, what a couple of losers.
Laughing it all off and then pointing fingers trying to pin the accountability on everyone else for the chaos. Pathetic. Lang got his in the end though.

  • @THERSC216 June 21, 2024

Woodstock 99 was basically: corporate greed, corner cutting in basic services, s^x assault, and promoters who blamed everyone else (like PAID performers) for their failures.

  • I don’t think people should blame RHCP since the family of Hendrix asked them to play fire

  • @bjordsvorner June 21, 2024

Blaming the RHCP for the violence

    LMAO

  • @gh0stcrz978 June 21, 2024

I don’t see this is a disaster. This was saying goodbye to the hippie garbage of the 60s and hellfuckingo to the nu metal 2000s

  • @Amir_Nassir June 21, 2024

    usual suspects

  • @kennybeck5519 June 21, 2024

    🎉cant rape the willing!

  • @Holocaustica June 21, 2024

Wait. This is the 100% already told story of Woodstock 99.

  • @Senior_Partner June 21, 2024

All on purpose to create drama. And it did. Everyone of a certain age and who did any research or just listened and paid attention to the problems of the original Woodstock repeated ad nauseum would know what to avoid. Not to mention experienced promoters and venue operators, etc.
You would go out of your way to double triple quadruple check everything. Unless, unless…you wanted all this and perhaps worse to happen.Stinks of Psyop. And a lazy one at that, on an airforce base. LOL Yet no one could help or stop what happened.(eye roll) Yet it worked. The devolution in 30yrs is interesting and predictible. Can't wait to see what happens when SHTF. With all the so called generations remaining. Humans.

  • @davemoss9505 June 21, 2024

    "angst" such bullshit

  • @AliAkbar-gq6ed June 21, 2024

It was for sure a counter culture movement. They just threw that peace and love shit out the window

  • @RabanRobtheKnob June 21, 2024

You had the Columbine high shooting and this shit fest in the same year. What an anathema! An American music festival with mainstream/Walmart bands and artists sponsored by major labels. What could possibly go wrong when it's all about money? Pitiful.

  • @KarinaForte-qh2qt June 21, 2024

Hooligans lol ..punk rock n roll

  • @KarinaForte-qh2qt June 21, 2024

  • @KarinaForte-qh2qt June 21, 2024

And then they say white people are civilized

  • @ziggyplay June 21, 2024

I hope they have regularized this abuse and that it will not happen again in other events. It is a robbery and a huge irresponsibility what was done here.

  • @jacobmatowik6384 June 21, 2024

Listening to all the problems… "is this just a warped tour!?"😂

  • @swell411 June 21, 2024

This is genx children of Woodstock 69.
Flipping their fingers at their peace and love parents because it obviously didnt work.
Now these hippy parents are in charge of the war party.
    Hmm whos at fault?

  • @johncase1353 June 21, 2024

They left out the part where a gang took over the toilets and charged people $10 to use them.

  • @warrencarlock3587 June 21, 2024

Gotta ruin it for everyone smh some peoples kids

  • @myeyeswentdeaf6213 June 21, 2024

I was there, for all 3 days, and it’s absolutely true, they did take all our food and beverages. I had 2 jugs of water, a box of crackers, and a box of cereal. They took it all. They were telling us “🫵😠No outside food or drinks!”.
It was a 3 friggin day long event! Are you F’ing kidding me!? Or better yet, are you F’ing nuts!?
And yeah, they were. They were charging us like 5 bucks for a little friggin 12oz bottle of water. Heck!, I can’t even remember what they were charging for food, but I remember it was so much that I ate once. If I had to guess, it was like 15 bucks (1999 money) and it was a little plate. I do remember what I had thought. I had beef lo-mien. A couple noodles of lo-mien and like 3 or 4 little pieces of beef.
I was 18 years old at the time. I could just barely afford the ticket to get in. Between that, bus tickets to there and back, and an appropriate amount of drugs, I couldn’t afford to be buying food and water. Which is why I brought my own. It’s probably why EVERYONE brought their own. And had it taken from them.
Lucky I was young and fit enough to be able to make it through, but even I felt like I was gonna pass out at times. I see in the video your showing people laying underneath the trailers for shade. The one time I felt bad enough that I went to lay under one, security told me to move.
Woodstock had its moments though too. All in all I’m glad I went. I had a good time. Slept with 2 different girls I met there and never saw again. Met a bunch’a cool people. Got high as a kite. Saw my favorite band at time, Rage Against The Machine. Also, Red Hot Chili Peppers. So it was an experience I’m glad I had, but it was ALWAYS gonna end like that. It HAD TO! It was only right. 🤘🏻 🔥

  • @KalebMMG June 21, 2024

  • @Ant_Mo4 June 21, 2024

  • @DylanLovesBrenda June 21, 2024

  • @coloneljoe5190 June 21, 2024

Too many ads in this video !

  • @premiumGenX June 21, 2024

They partied like it was 1999. This could have been predicted if everyone in my generation wasn't wasted the entire decade

  • @jakesanders269 June 21, 2024

94 Woodstock was chill and was pretty Iconic. 99 was a slaughter house. The 90s died.

  • They tried to blame Fred Durst, but it was their corporate greed that caused all the chaos!

  • It was billed as "anti establishment" but it was as corporate as it gets!

  • @Wallywz2 June 21, 2024

    🤣🤣🤣

  • @abneldones184 June 21, 2024

Ok this is how I took it they lost a good amount of money on the 94 Woodstock so I feel like the promoter was trying to get back at the ppl by making them buy food inside water etc but what happens if u fight fire with fire ? It’s going to be a shit show

  • @chadm2781 June 21, 2024

The untold story? This entire story was literally told in way more detail in the Netflix doc. This was a waste of time

  • @rigelmoon9030 June 21, 2024

Woodstock99 attendees were expecting something as great if not better'n Woodstock. But, there'll never be anything comparable to the original. Expectations were high in '99; because, the attendees' had a prerequisite for comparison. There were very few hippies disappointed; because; they seldom are disappointed. Give them a hotdog now and them, some brew or wine, and smoke and they are completely satisfied in life. They would have a good time watching worms fuck, for crisake.

  • @robertmetzinger5825 June 21, 2024

And tbey thought Woodstock 99 would be mellow? Like in 69? Haha. With korn, limp, bush, etc hahaha

  • @allisonferen8571 June 21, 2024

I was front row main stage security. I was walking around alone during the “craziness@ at the end…

  • @GabberPinda June 21, 2024

This happens when organizations get greedy and only see the $. There was a lack of everything to control this huge event. Also the location wasn't ready for 600.000 visitors. And the bad infrastructure and roads were terrible 🤮👎🚮 And ofcourse the 🔥 is asking for trouble.

  • Fred sucks

  • John share should be thrown in a moshpit and forced to pay 10$ for water as it is nowadays
