    This whole conversation should have been done with woodys artorney. Not with the da and judge in an ex parts hearing. It’s clearly witness intimidation. Period.

    Yea. They coerced Woody. They put him in a horrible position. He had all those officers and attorneys in front of him. He was pressured by all of them.
    And there were things said that were questionable by everyone.

    The issue is they VOLUNTARILY gave him immunity just to be able to revoke his 5th amendment rights!!! That there alone should be unconstitutional 🤦🏾‍♀️ he didn’t even ask for immunity

    Ms.Bumpus worked for the DA’s office, would that not make her a “connection” to the prosecutors? Per the transcripts, Copeland says that he hadn’t talked to Melnick, not that Melnick wasnt his lawyer. So he didnt magically reappear, he was IMO purposely never notified by the DA’s office. On the one day he actually showed up to court ,Melnick stated that the DA’s office had stopped communicating with him. Per the transcripts, prosecution even admitted knowledge of Melnick previously representing Copeland so the defense “hiring” him is a moot point.
    You, IN MY OPION, seem to believe that defendants are guilty until proven innocent, but thats just a bit backwards.

    A key facet of lawyering and court operations is allowing the record to be made (recorded) clearly without people talking over one another or interrupting.

    Judges and Attorneys know this as a key rule of order in the court.
